Animal Cuts...New Formula...

Well I've been a fan of the entire Animal line for years. I have used many of their products...Animal Stak, M-Stak, Pak, Test, Flex, Pump, and Cuts (not at the same time of course lol). I've used Animal Cuts during all of my cutting phases and have had great results. So when I heard of the new Animal Cuts formula I was excited to give it a try after hearing it was better/more potent than the original.

Well I just finished my 1st can and unfortunately I was disappointed with the new Cuts formula. When taking the original Animal Cuts I would begin noticing the difference after the 1st week...but after 3 weeks of the new formula...nothing. It didn't do anything to decrease my appetite/reduce weight and body fat/improve definition/etc. I've actually felt hungrier since taking the new formula and have gained 5 lbs.

And yes my diet has been very clean and strict...as it's always been...and my training has remained consistent as well.

I know different things work for different people...but for me...I unfortunately have to give the new Animal Cuts formula a thumbs down. Hopefully I can still find the original Animal Cuts online or in stores...may have to stock up on it before they are completely gone.

Good to know info... And thanks for taking the time for an honest review... Unfortunately, as you've said, not everything works for everyone... Definitely sorry that this was the case with you on this product...

No problem...I'll always be a supporter of the entire Animal line...it's worked wonders for me

Didn't work for me either, where can I buy the previous formula?

The new formula tastes like cayenne pepper burps and doesn't seem to work, plus it shouldn't be taken on an empty stomach without crazy side effects. Must be the tea and cayenne.

Whereas the previous formula worked great. Had no taste and could easily be taken on an empty stomach. Plus with the previous formula as you mentioned I could tell right away after taking it that it was working.

Weight dropped off with the previous formula. Weight seems to be going back on with this new formula. =(

In fact I could take one pack a day with the original formula and drop weight.

Any chance they could sell both formulas? Since it looks like tons of people across the net are having the same bad reaction. This doesn't seem to be a step forward, but just really a less costly formula for them charged at the same price for us, based on tea and less expensive substances packaged like the original one that worked.

I want to like it, I liked the original one very much. =) But it just looks like they are now cashing in. If it was just me, then ya the it works different for everyone thing would be ok, but it seems it's moving to the majority of people wanting the old version back.

Any chance they could sell both? And see which wins? =)

I hate it when a good product goes bad. Wish I had known I'd have bought a couple of cases before hand...

Note: the old formula was chemically sound, and based on chemistry, which is probably why it worked and why we loved it.

The new formula is based on new agey stuff like dandelion root, celery seed and juniper berries. There's a lot of new agey buzz word stuff here, but no actual proven chemisty, ie...none of the current ingredients except for one or two have ever been proven to be effective other than as current health food fad buzz words.

My plea again for going back to chemisty/the old formula. Please? =)

Not saying the new formula doesn't have some effect, I guess if you put enough caffeine and tea in something, somethings bound to happen, but removing the previous ingredients that really worked and replacing them with less expensive alternatives, seems short sighted, unless you lower the cost. But the price didn't go down...just the effectiveness.

Are there other ones I can try?

I am using the new formula as well, i have seen some results from it but nothing too great, and the 9 pills per pak gets really old and it means i am taking almost 30 pills a day and i am fixing to change to something different with less pills.

I took the new formula for a month and gained about 4lbs. I then switched over to VPX Meltdown and proceed to drop 8lbs in a month while gaining muscle mass.

I have been using the new cuts for about a week and I haven't noticed any thermo, any increase in energy, no appetite supp and I am not a fan of there nootropic blend. I hope the next two weeks yield something....the weight is only down .4 pounds.

We appreciate the honest feedback. Personally I like the new formula better. I am sure there are some stores out there with the old version still.

Let's be honest though, that's not quite true, most of the evidence points to a less expensive/less effective version now being created and sold based on tea and other new agey buzz word ingredients instead of chemistry. Tea is extremely cheap to buy, celery seed, juniper berries, cayene etc...also extremely cheap to buy. Less than a penny in bulk.

These items mentioned above replaced the actual chemistry that worked in the previous version and replaced the more expensive chemical alternatives that worked. As you can tell by the responses here and across the net, it's not a it doesn't work for everyone thing, as it seems I'm not alone. There seems to be lots of folks feeling the placebo effect and even gaining weight.

So with that being said, we all really like the old version(it works), so I'll put a challenge to you, sell them each head to head and see who wins in purchasing. I'm betting the older version that worked wins hands down in purchases. Plus it's a challenge that benefits you. =) It's a win win. We like you. The new version isn't being well recieved in the real world where your customers live. Give us a chance to prove that through sales. What have ya got to lose except more sales? =)

Thanks for your ear, your customers want to like you. Your customers are saying this doesn't work in the real world and is actually putting on weight or when not, not really working well enough to continue buying.

I also find it pretty weird naturalguy that you physically moved your original post to ItalynStalyn to the very bottom of the thread to get the last word in.

That post to ItalynStalyn saying he might find the old version in stores was originally posted to him right after his feedback in the middle of the thread. Odd that now it's at the bottom after the other posts that said this version doesn't seem to work.

That's just bad form. =) I understand you want to pump your product, but that's just bad form. =)

I can tell you for fact that the new version costs us more to manufacture. You are just going by the tea blend (which does use high extracts/polyphenol content which is more expensive than just regular tea extract) you are missing out on other ingredients like raspberry ketones, coleus and other ingredients that do cost more.

As far as selling the two versions head to head, that is not my call, I doubt it will happen as the old formula is not being manufactured anymore.

The majority of the feedback we get on the new formula is that it is better than the previous version. Of course results will vary with individuals.
