Lactic Acid reducers?
Hey all,
I am trying to find out if there are any products to take pre or while working out that will help reduce the levels of lactic acid during my workout.
On leg days with my trainer, i workout pretty intensely as we are trying to squeeze it all into an hour session. With that intensity comes the dreaded nausea/headache which then KILLS my workout (also happens when he throws in some plyometrics which get my stomach juices sloshing around). When i do my 2nd day of legs by myself, i allow more time to rest & don't incur the same problems during.
I sip fluids throughout workout to make sure i don't dehydrate but have to keep stomach empty or i will "yack".
i tried asking the people at my Supplement Store, but got blank stares.
Help me out!

As many have already mentioned, Beta-Alanine will help greatly in delaying/buffering the lactic acid buid-up.
With that said, there are great options out that correlates with your needs/wants right now. That being:
- IntraXcell & IntrAbolic.
Here is some great information on IntrAbolic and the reasons as to why it was designed the way it is and in which you drink while you train:
http://forum.bodybuilding.com/showth...ght=Intrabolic
..and did I mention it's $8 dollars off now?
IntraXcell info:
http://forum.bodybuilding.com/showth...ght=IntraXcell
And it's the only stand-alone Beta-alanine supplement proven in 3 studies!
Check it out here -> http://forum.bodybuilding.com/showth...ght=IntraXcell
...and did I mention this is on sale as well!- 25% off!!

Arm & Hammer.
Lactate isn't the devil btw pH drop from H+ and inorganic phosphates are among other things.

This.
Beta alanine doesn't buffer lactic acid, it buffers the pH due to the protons (technically, its carnosine that beta alanaine increases the synthesis of thhat does this.). Lactic acid is a buffer in itself.
