I've always been told the same thing about not taking aminos of any kind with food (one hour before you eat or two hours after you eat).
Its hard to be able to take "xxx" on empty and "yyy" on full stomach without having a problem with overlap of some kind.......not to mention its a pain in the butt.
What I do is:
upon waking in fasted state:
arginine 500mg, ornithine 250 mg, citrulline 750 mg, lysine 500 mg, 5 grams of bcaa's, 5grams of glutamine...(.....30 min later i start eating for the day.
one hour after my last meal (before taining):
(example.......i eat at 12:00....at 1:00 I take arginine ect...at 1:40 I take pre/wo shake)
arginine 1500 mg, ornithine 750 mg, lysine 500 mg, bcaa's 5 grams, glutamine 5 grams... (I drink my pre/wo drink about 15 or 20 min before training unless its legg day then I will take my shake and arginine and the like together 45 min before training).
right after training:
the same as before training.
right before bed:
same as upon waking.
I've got to run so I'll let someone else chime in and explain the part as to why it should or should'nt be taken with or without food.....
