Weight Vest Comparisons

Apparently XVests are the gold standard weight vests. However, they're also expensive. I've been researching weight vests that are cheaper but still good quality. I just need one that won't rip and won't bounce. I do lots of running and jumping drills so it's very important that it won't bounce for those drills. There are 2 I found that look like they might meet these qualifications at a much cheaper price.

MiR:

Does anyone have experience with these 2 weight vests or know of any good quality good priced vests?

No experience with those two. If I had to pick out of those two then your second one is better.

V-Max is another great brand but they aren't cheap.

I have the short 40lb vest. Just did my first workout with it yesterday. Vest kicked my butt on pullups and I found that I drenched my shirt with sweat when my whole workout was done.

Nice find Jesus, I like how the V-max goes up to 100lbs, X-vest only goes up to 84.

I have a v-max 50 lb. short. Bought it off their specials page with a pretty decent discount. The one I bought was a proto-type/pictures taken of item. Some of the discounted ones on that page are exchanges/upgrade/trade ins. Can not speak about those. However, I just called in and asked about a few on the specials page, and chose. Looked and felt brand new, and has worked and held up fine.

Another plug for the V-max. I love mine, and it's built tough. My wife says I look like a SWAT guy in it. (Hey baby, wanna feel my weight pockets...)

Seriously though, an x-vest or a v-max is a great investment IMO.

S'all good.

Sometimes I get naked and play around in the chalk, then ask my wife if she wants to"powerlift".

She insists my boys are going to have issues.
