How much cardio should be done a week?
I lift monday to Friday and take the weekends off. After im done lifting I do 30 mins of cardio on one of the machines at the gym. Im trying to lose fat around my stomach and sides, its working but I want faster results. Should I do more cardio on the weekend?

You only need to lift about 3 times a week, the rest of the time low intensity cardio is fine.
If this doesn't result in losing 2lbs a week, you need to reduce your calories... I couldn't do cardio 5 days a week on a low calorie diet.

I use to do cardio after my workout, but I switched to doing it in the morning. I try to maintain 30 minutes of running 3x a week. I read something somewhere about cardio in the morning helps your body burn more calories/fat throughout the day. Don't take this as 100% accurate, but it seems to work for me.

it was proven that you burn about 300% more fat calories when doing cardio in the morning. read it in a M&F mag. wake up drink a glass or water or even a protein shake to maintain save muscle from catabolic state before you jog...the idea is when you wake up your low on glycogen and any exercise, especially cardio dips into more fat stores for energy. ive tried it before and you tend to feel better throughout the day but most my cardio comes from after my workout's.
I will actually be switching to a cardio session in the morning and then probably another at night since i might be doing a show coming up soon, and needless to say FOCUS ON DIET, fat and carb calories in and calories burned...as well as keeping your protein high!

you can do cardio everyday, i am currently running twice a day
whatever your body can handle
i also believe empty stomach morning cardio is best, if you're really keen, make a pot of coffee the night before and put a cup in the fridge, slam it in the morning then go run, gets you going...
