I enjoyed reading your Log.
I hope you still around and rocking the KETO Diet. I would love to follow along with you. I'm in my 3rd week of KETO and looking to follow along with someone on the same journey.

hey people - its been a few days but I'm around. Just a strange week happening.. positive but strange.
I just wanted to check in - I don't have my workout book around me to copy the values in
so I'll be back with that later
I ache, in a happy way
I am looking leaner and am recieving unsolicited "comments of approval" from one of the maintenance guys who is convinced I won't talk to him after I reach my goal. Ditto. :-)

Hey - thanks for the support! I know keto isn't the only diet out there and isn't mandatory for fat loss but as an individual I can definitively say overall I am happiest eating this way. And I'm definitely seeing results - PAST the whole initial water weight loss. Its not a calories thing. Its a piece of mind thing. The other diets, I am insatiable - I'm hungry ALL the time. Its miserable.
I don't think carbs make people fat. excess cals does that. But right now my focus is serious training without the emotional drama of diet day in day out. In the future when I reintroduce carbs, they have to be low glycemic and all that .. seriously I find the sugar thing to be an issue. I just seriously seem to run better on keto. I'm eating clean now and will eat clean then
I'm a happier lady as of late
thanks for stopping by!
-----
Alrighty so yesterday's log
Workout
an easy 30 min on the elliptical. my body hurt so I'm proud of myself for showing up. Tomorrow is my next rest day
Nutrition
Tysons anytizers hot wings, white cheese
beef stew - lunch and dinner.. yummy
2 servings 100 cal muscle milk light
1,489 62% f, 35% p, 3% c
I had to make myself go back for another helping of food yesterday because my appetite has been steadily decreasing. Maybe in the past I would be thrilled about not NEEDING to eat - and I will say it is truly piece of mind to not be thinking about eating every damn second of the day. But at the same time, I'm doing work in the gym and the kind of body I want NEEDS the fuel and NEEDS me to pay attention to the details. I don't want to half ass this. I don't want my body eating up my muscle because I'm not eating right.
I have hearts to break remember
oh and I have to make a living and be healthy and all that yadda yadda *smile*
*touching growing biceps* << I need to stop doing this in public
haha

Ah, exactly, glad you said that. And that is the only advantage keto has really, IMO, is that it really does keep you full all the time. Glad you're doing well. Hows the progress coming along?

Life Sure Is Funny
this week, alot of big doors to an alternative life outside of my chosen career has opened. I'm geeked out, frightened, excited, and just praying about it. If I find success.. I'd truly die happy. Not everyone gets to make a living off of their element - especially if you're a creative type like me. so. cross the fingers and toes.. I'll spill the beans as this develops into something tangible.
we'll see where this goes.
anyway, I was a little off this week. No excuse, but I will say my focus wandered a bit there with all that was coming my way. I did P90x only twice, made it to the gym 4 times this week, each time I spent 45 min on the elliptical and 2 of those days I lifted heavy for my upper body ranging from warm up (10 lbs) to work (20 lbs). I broke keto and not even for a good reason. Its as though I just wasn't paying attention this weekend. And it wasn't like "mmmmm I HAVE TO HAVE IT YUMYUMYUM". It was guilt ridden. Well outside of the ice cream. I'll always love ice cream. But right now I feel like crap because the sugar and crappy carbs (not even whole grains people. not even whole grains) make me feel kinda sick, bloated and slow. So I'm working on getting back on track. This part sucks because the 1st few days back on keto I walk around kinda light headed or something.
On a side note, its critical to my plans to get into great shape and eventually start training people. Just the way my life is set up, it would really change alot of things for me. Jack Canfield - author of my favorite book THE SUCCESS PRINCIPLES calls it a breakthrough goal. A breakthrough goal is a goal that, if you achieve it, literally changes your life. It puts you in a place where other things can happen for you. So for me, getting fit is my breakthrough goal. It's not like if I become fit, I will become a happy person - I already am a generally happy person..if you don't count the suffering from clinical depression thing. *shrugs* No.. if I do this, just bc of the way that I am and the following I garnered at the University as a fitness instructor.. this would just allow a lot of things to happen for me. Oh and of course I'd be happy about being smoking hot but then again wouldn't you? bwahaha.
Anyway I've noticed on keto, the constant cardio thing does work well for me. I was concerned bc you always read alllll over bb.com that too much cardio is bad and will eat muscle. But then again, I have plenty of weight to lose so should I be that concerned about it right now? I'm guilty of wanting to look smaller 1st.. and besides I don't ignore the weight room at all.
I was reading that its more than spending hours on the machine one day as if it covers the whole week. Its the actual *stimulus* of physical activity on a regular basis that causes your body to change. My body seems to literally demand that I keep it moving if I want to see more changes.
I'm going to be trying something this week. *pokes body's metabolism* lets see if I can stoke the fire and make it hotter.
Anyway I hope you guys are doing well - I'll behave and focus more on my diet and exercise. Because no matter how exciting other things can be in my life, I feel *off* when I'm not on my tight regimen. At least for now. A girl's got big plans.

Lol.
so I've been itching to update and its 2:21 AM. I don't know what day it is bc the days are blending together. I'm on a new venture because a mix of stroke of luck / blessings / and freaky coincedence has put me in a position where I can pursue and be mentored by a very very established someone in the music business
I've been spending my time traveling back and forth, in studios, meeting artists, learning, and most importantly writing
I'm in the midst of SO much but the most important thing to note is I have no actual schedule any more..
theres an excellent chance I'm leaving the life as I knew it, moving, and so forth.
I'm never home. HOW DO I DO KETO when I'm always hopping around?! Driving all over?? I dont even sleep much anymore
When I'm in this other house fulll of people its almost impossible to keep my groceries mine.. and its like junk food and yumminess galore. So they eat my stuff and all that otehr stuff.. except when they eat my stuff I have nothing to eat. They can move on to theirs. Everyone indulges in everything under the sun. I was feeling so out of wack that I started my keto despite the extreme poor planning ...
I don't know how to do it with this lifestyle..
and it looks like my image is going to be important now more than ever
I always have to be dressed with hitting NYC studios, meet and greets.. industry parties will start coming up
i have a lot to do, figure out, and adapt to
but one thing is for sure
I NEED to be able to workout and eat right. i need it. I don't feel good right now
I have a Bally's membership so I can go to the different locations
but diet
*sigh*
what do I do?

hi there, just read that you use hydroxycut.
I just read in an australian mag that all hydroxyxut products have been recalled due to so many reports of liver damage and even one death due to hydroxycut use, as well as patients needing liver transplants.
Don't want to scare you just giving you a heads up.
I have also used it and loved it. ot any more
Anyway, going back to read your log properly now
