Anyone mix protein powder with cottage cheese?
How does it taste? I really cant stand the taste of plain cottage cheese. Would it be ok to eat the cottage cheese + whey before bed?

Unfortunately, I don't like nuts. I really need something to kill that cottage cheese taste.

I mix in cottage cheese with a bowl of chili, or eat it as a side with a serving of pasta. -V

Cottage Cheese with powder taste really good. As mentioned before adding fruit is another good option to change the taste of the cottage cheese. If you want to try something other than making it sweet, you can add salsa/chili and make a dip (use veggies?)

One of my favorrite treats before bed it PB + CC + Cinnamon + 5 or 6 raisens... melt in microwave and eat! so good!

Try a good-tasting cottage Cheese . . .
Breakstone 4% milkfat large-curd CC tastes gr8, I don't want 2 add anything 2 kill the taste, it's that good.
But I agree, 4 most types of low-fat & no-fat CC u have 2 add stuff 2 be able 2 choke it down, it tastes like **** by itself.

Is it really that hard to actually type out the words "great" "to" or "for"?

1/2 cup FF CC with 1 scoop or 1/2 scoop protein powder, flavor of your choice. You have (flavor) pudding!!!
1/2 cup of FF is about 13g protein, 1 scoop whey is 23-4g, total = 36-7grams of protein.

i cook it for about 60 seconds at a time and keep stirring it, or the cottage cheeze will start to bubble up.. it really good this way when the PB and CC start to melt together. Try it!

Gonna have to try that one... its pretty good cold, but if it's nice hot too - time to nuke!
I've tried protein powder with CC and didnt really like it... prob put in too much powder tho as it absorbed all the moisture, ended up having to add water to get the texture back.

I did Fat free cottage cheese with Natty peanut butter and unsweetened cocoa once and it tasted awful. The muddy chocolate flavor combined with the nutty flavor of peanut butter really screwed up the sweetness when combined with Cottage cheese.
