I agree, the show was EXTREMELY well run! Denise and Kevin are great people! I cant wait til I can do that show in a couple years...gonna have a lot to live up to having the name LUKE!
Yeah that music was out of control!! I still had a great time!
So how was breakfast that next morning?! What'd ya end up weighin when you got home?! Close to 200 I bet!

you are going to be stupid lean for the september show. oh man, this is gonna be good.
have you talked to layne about the diet yet? i was just thinking, if you went back to the 100g carbs, you'd probably be able to start dieting back up for the last 2-3 weeks, would be nice. you should really be able to fill out with no spill over if done right i think. at least, that's how it's going in my head, but you and layne would know better than i would of course.
either way, this is going to be sick. i can't wait.

I'm not working with Layne any longer, I actually only hired him through the cap city but he was generous enough to take me all the way through the WA show pro bono, we got the peak right, won another division, and I looked my best I think its time I venture out into the wide world on my own now lol...and by on my own I mean Alberto is helping me prep now lol
and I think the 100g of carbs probably is not a good idea, the one thing I've learned from this prep is I really have to baby my metabolism or it shuts down. But it fires right back up from BIG refeeds. So the goal here is to use this BIG refeed to get the met rate back up to something livable as far as macros...so were gonna ride out on 155g of carbs and 40g of fat and see how long we can swing that...have a big refeed and repeat, and if necessary drop fat first, and probably carbs second...but Alberto is the man driving the bus, I'm just gonna put in the work...but from what we've seen and discussed that will be the approach...I very well may be back at 100g of carbs...but probably not until closer to the show

Smart man. That problem is very common. You're a champ staying the course! Again, awesome job so far.

Tuesday August 11th Day 223
Intro
I had a laid back day at work, and I'm happy to say work is not stressing me out anymore like it was a few days ago, I'm getting back into the groove of life again, that is good. Didn't feel like stepping back into the full swing of school just yet...that is the benefit of online programs...I can start on it tomorrow.
Had a GREAT workout today. My hamstring is pretty much back folks...at least for conventional deadlifts....I haven't ventured back to sumo deads, and I'm not sure I will, but ****...it was a good day in the gym tonight
Nutrition
F/C/P
40/150/240
Training
Pull Power, warm ups excluded
Deadlifts
405 x 3 (3 sets)
405 x 1 second rep felt really heavy...so I just stopped to be safe...more proud of myself for that than the prior 3 sets! lol
Weighted Pull Ups
+55lbs x 5 (4 sets)
Kettlebell Swings w/THE BEAST
48kg x 25 (4 sets)
Barbell Curls
135 x 4 (2 sets)
115 x 5 (2 sets)
Dumbell Rows
160 x 5
150 x 5 (3 sets)
Misc
194.2 this morning, lost about 4lbs in a day lol...I look so spilled over its ridiculous, its weird though...I saw ab veins in the right lighting, the forearms are still crazy lean when I look at them, my triceps are still cross striated when pumped, and I still have cross striated and quads and striated glutes...just blurry...but man I have love/water handles and back fat/water...I dunno...its a head trip...but some of the ripped markers are still there...I'm hoping not too much of it will stick...but I remind myself I've got 6+ weeks

Well concidering that you have 6 weeks to loose about 1 maybe 2 pounds of real fluff (not counting the mondo refeed weight cause we all know that'll be gone by oohhh about now). Plenty of time to not really have to do anything real crazy to get to alien status.

me too! after the hammie tear this shocks the hell out of me...especially considering I sumo deadlifted in the past not conventional
I weighed in at 188...of course that was night before...I'd imagine on stage I was 183-185
