NxLabs PlasmaVol Review(s)...

So I went to GNC today and because they didn't have Halodrol Liqiugels there me and my boy each bought PlasmaVol for $53.50 a pop (cheaper than bb.com suprisingly). For 9 workouts that is unbelieveably rediculously OVERPRICED.
Anyways onto my review.

What I Expected: For my 1st workout on this I expected absolutley nothing.
What I Got: Well I was shocked that after doing my first set of my first lift (Rows) I noticed my veins were popping out more. Now the thing is I am a very very very non-vascular person and I had one vein right on my left elbow that got HUGE.

Disreguarding Price so far: 8.5/10

I will update in 6 more lifts.

looking at the label, it says one serving before workout and 18 servings in the bottle total...how do you figure only 9 workouts?

I'm still wondering how they stabilize an ester of creatine in a water based solution.

You are right, I thought it listed 1 tablespoon as a serving not 2. Still $60+ for 18 workouts....thats insane.

Yea me too. Shouldn't hydrolysis occur and kind of rend the ester worthless? The only thing I can think of is to get seran wrap and individually wrap every single ester so the water can't get in. naybe that's why it costs so much?

My Experience with Plasmavol

I've been using Plasmavol for a week now. I'm an experienced, mediocre amateur bodybuilder. I am already using supplements, including creatine monohydrate.

* One of the tubes of Plasmavol leaked in transit. Probably lost less than one serving.
* The Plasmavol keeps forming solid plugs at the exit of the tube, making measurement difficult.
* I have noted no increase in vascularity since starting with Plasmavol. Note that I drink a large 16 oz Monster Low-Carb before / early in my workout, and I do take care to drink plenty of water during the rest my workout, at least 16 oz more water. I think that the key to increased vascularity is continued reduction of bodyfat and dehydration when posing to remove subcutaneous water. Well-established stuff.
* I have not gained weight since starting with Plasmavol. Note that I was already on creatine, so any creatine-induced weight gain (from the creatine in Plasmavol) is not expected.
* My strength is improving, and lean mass is improving, but that trend was established before I started on Plasmavol, so I can't confidently attribute that to Plasmavol.

Overall, from my own experience, I'd have to put Plasmavol in that large category of supplements that merely lighten my wallet. I'll continue to use my remaining supply, and I'll update if I think it's "working", but I doubt that I'll buy any more.
