Ive got something harder for you guys...
go on a smith machine and put the bar at 1 of the highest locks. hang from it and do a pull up and explode up and catch the top of the smith cage. Drop down and repeat. i can do 2.

Its like clap push ups, its the landing that is actually the "benificial" part of the lift, the isometric contraction of the muscle (contracting whilst lengthening)

In laymans terms it basically "multiplys" the effect of the negative

one of the excercises is clapping push ups. its the same explosiveness that is your twitch. basically - you want to clap and hang on to the bar without falling - as you get mor tired you're less likely to be able to complete the exercise - but as you train your eplosiveness you will be seeing results in sports like boxing etc.

tried it just now - only managed 4.
yea clap pushups is definitely explosive and works ur serratus for punching, but it just seems like doing pullups explosively would need immense power. but im saying from the looks of the video there isn't an explosive pull propelling him up. he's pulling himself up at the rate of a normal pullup and then clapping at the top of the movement as he drops back down.
