anyone else not care that much about college?

here's the deal, i can only stomach about 4 months straight of F/T work without going crazy, I gotta go back to school but about after a month from each semester i get annoyed/bored as **** of college.

i COMMUTE to school and do not live on my own or on dorms. maybe that is why....but all i want to do is get a full time job in the field that i am studying and start working so i can travel.

anyone else? share your thoughts?

I do one semester at a time and then leave to travel somewhere. (GI Bill so I save my money each semester) However, this semester my planned trip to Japan for 4 months fell through and I'm going to have to do another semester. I'm already going crazy and the semester hasn't even started yet. It's sooooooooooo ****ing boring and stupid. Everything I learn during the semester (not counting anatomy type courses) can be condensed into about 3 weeks of actual learning. That's about 13 weeks of wasted time. I dislike school very very much.

Travel = learning more than I ever learn in a classroom

agreed. every time i travel i learn more about myself and waht im truly made of. college is boring as ****, mostly since i commute.

I'm in the opposite position of you, went to school got a degree, went out and worked in the field for a year, decided I hated it and now I'm going back for a second degree to do something rewarding.

I'm to much for college, college kids can't handle my ****.. i style on all their females. lol.. Currently I work fulltime and I'm signed up to take classes Mon-Thursday 6:30 pm to 9. So yeah make bank and I'm getting ahead.. even though I think its a waste of 1500 dollars... but I got dough.
