Excuses - Everybody has one - What's yours?

OK - I fly for a living (usually internationally), eat airplane food, have my sleep schedule CONSTANTLY screwed up, and rarely have access to a gym (hotel "workout rooms" generally don't count). I lift when I can, sleep when I can, and eat healthy...when I can. I haven't been able to make any real progress for a while, although I'm able to keep from losing too much of what I've gained.

I'm just curious about what issues everyone else has to deal with?

What keeps you from making gains?

What keeps you from being as healthy as you'd like, or as thin as you'd like, or as big as you want to be?

I'd be glad to share what I've learned so far, OR - if you have any solutions to MY issues, I'm all ears!!

I have to travel for work sometimes too - I take healthy food with me, but don't have to worry about my sleep schedule getting screwed up so bad - although Friday/Saturday nights can sometimes run pretty late!

I'd take food too, but customs and agricultural restrictions are pretty severe! Food bars are generally ok, but that's not really whole food nutrition!

Ahhh, yes - Friday/Saturday late nights...I think I remember those!

"Excuses"

I guess you could call this an excuse, but I feel like it's a pretty good reason. I'm scrawny, but tired of it. I try to workout, but a lot of times, other guys at the gym give me a hard time because I can't lift much, and make jokes with each other about me even though I'm close enough to hear.

It's disheartening, and totally de-motivating to go to the gym. Like the guy suzycutie got negged by - knuckle draggers (that's a good one!) - even though I know they're a$$holes, I still don't want to have to deal with them.

I read about what motivates a lot of you guys, and it's the good feelings that keep you going. For me it's more like anger, and I have to overcome it to step in the gym. I'm making progress...but they make me feel like I'm going backwards.
