Being sick!
So I just worked out today for the first time in 5 days cause I had a FULL BLOWN NASTY MULTI SYMPTON COLD! Man I swear those are worse than the flu sometimes cause it last forever. I still lacked some energy in there (am thinking cause not eating well this last week) but I was able to maintain what I did last time, missed a couple of my last reps but was still pretty good considering. Even though we eat healthy and take all our vitamins and stay in great shape becareful you can still catch it! Just a reminder to make sure you WASH your hands when your done working out and try not to touch your face to much during the routine. I swear I felt myself SHRINKING!!! this week. But it sure felt good to lift today!

Don't sweat it bro... Being sick SUCKS big time, but it shouldn't affect things too much... Every now and then, I take a week off from lifting anyway, and when I start again, it's usually better than ever... Rest is a good thing, feel better...
Peace...

You want to talk about a bummer. Lose weight too fast and you can develop gall stones. After dropping 45 lbs over the past year, I had a gall bladder attack last week and it's so bad it's caused pancreatitis too. So next week they're taking the gall bladder out. 6 weeks of not being allowed to lift anything over 20 lbs is going to erase an awful lot of progress. Sometimes it seems you can't win for losing.

I you don't mind, could you please tell me what your symptoms were. I have terrible right upper quadrant pain, but they've done tons of gall bladder tests and they said my gall bladder is at the upper limit of size, but I don't have any stones. Thus nothing is warranted such as surgery for removal. In a way I am glad because I don't want surgery and I would like to keep my gall bladder, but I've talked to several people who've had their gall bladders removed and they all said it started out like what I described and in 2 years they ended up having their gall bladders removed.
Additionally, I have spoken to those with pancreatitis and they tell me they had similar symptoms, but they all were hard drinkers and/or smokers. I don't do either, but my triglycerides are so high that my doctor said I needed to take Lovaza to lower them so I don't suffer from pancreatitis. (Lovaza is prescription, FDA approved Fish Oil, or, as they call it "Omega-3-Acid Ethyl Esters")
My triglycerides have been lowered, but they are still high, like 400 something.
Anyway, any information you can share would be greatly appreciated, either here in the forum or PM me.
Many thanks
