Does P90x really work?

If anyone views my profile they will realize i went from 320 to 165 and i have a good building frame. I have been hearing great reviews about P90x getting people great results. I'm seeking to put on more muscle and get ripped. 120 is a lot to spend on some dvds if they don't work and i never thought i would turn to fitness commercials for a new workout routine. Anyone have personal reviews on P90x?

It'll definitely work if you're consistent with the training. Be forewarned though, please except several moments of discomfort because the videos are designed to train every muscle in your body. i've only tried the ab ripper DVD and i was really sore for a week. in a nutshell, it does work.

What did you think of the diet and supplement program that came with the dvds?

i did it for 2 months, not the said 3 cuz i had a surgery on the 3rd month on my feet
i was super strict with my own diet, i dont lik following someones outline, jus did what worked for me, i ate super clean, basically chicken breasts, chicpeas, only whole grains etc. and i was literally at the best shape of my life, ripped to shreds, veins everywhere etc.
it is very demanding tho so be warned, endurance is brutal during it, a few times my head was in the sink pourin cold water on my head cuz i got so dizzy haha
try it, but take it serious

Or you can get them legally on craigslist in your area for about $40-$50

I've used it and love it. I have a busy schedule so making the time everyday was probably the roughest part. But when I finished I was in the best shape of my life. I even got a few co-workers on it and they have also achieved great results. If you commit to it, it works and is therefore a good investment. So I'd say just buy it legally online for the best deal you can find.

I have heard nothing but good reviews about it. I myself have never used it but it seems like a good program from what people have told me. Any routine and diet will work if you stick with them. That being said, I wouldn't shell out the cash for it. Craigslist is a good idea or you can download it using programs like Ares Lite or Limewire.

Unfortunately you have to either have bought it or bootlegged a copy illegally to even explain what it is (neither of which I have done) but from what I can see it is a fitness routine for the casual fitness enthusiest. I'm sure it works well for getting a complete beginner into shape, however anyone who has goals beyond the Brad Pitt look would more than likely better invest their efforts in a more hardcore routine right up front, and focus on building quality mass and strength for their foundation. From what I have seen of it P90x seems to have a lot of fluff isolation work which I normally have the novice trainee avoid.

I followed my own clean diet and dropped yoga+kenpo and added 1/2 hour sessions of jump rope while staying RELIGIOUS with everything else. I got into good shape but by no means did I get ripped, I mean, I'm still hovering around the same weight but still got the flabs on my stomach, kind of what some here would call "skinny fat."

What's great about it is that you do get a GOOD workout and it's all delivered within a 1 hour session, great for busy people.

IMO, expect to do more than 90 days of working out and ANALYTICAL meal planning to get into beach body shape.
