I'll bite,

Not going, but would like to see Phil Heath win it. He is a class act.

Saw a couple recent pics of Phil on T-Nation yesterday. Dude is huge. I am not sure..was kinda thinking DJ to repeat, but might be leaning a bit toward Phil now.

^^^^I would have gone with this guy, too, except he's had injury problems, and a recent tragedy in his family that will no doubt affect his training.

I've heard/read that Cutler has been a man possessed training to recapture the Sandow. If it doesn't happen this year I don't see it happening again in that there are a lot of young guns coming up fast.

My money is on Kai Greene if he brings the same conditioning he did to the Arnold.

And FWIW the 202 should be insane competition...

It's going to be a real dogfight between Jay, Dex, Kai and Phil. If Denis Wolf is really on it will change the whole line up around. I'll be shocked if they let Kai win this year but he will play the spoiler and move a couple of guys down the ladder.

I can't wait to be there in person to see the monstrous adventure!!!!
I don't see Ronnie Coleman making a difference, if he is still going to compete in the lineup.

yeah I would not be sad if Vic took it either. With Cutler, his conditioning and timing seem to always be his thorn.

But I still got to go with big Phil

Not going, my vote is for Victor. There's time to bring up his injured leg, his mom or dad passed away (can't remember) before a show he won so his sister's tragic death should not affect prep. He's probably using it as motivation and will dedicate the show to her.

Jay brought the mass to beat Ronnie but he's far too blocky.

Dexter is a damn good bb'er but won't be able to fend off Kai and Vic's mass with class.

Kai has done some crazy chit to keep it financially together in the past and politics could very well keep him from ever becoming a Mr. O. The fans don't forget a stripper and grapefruit fcuker even after a win at the Arnold.

Heath will be a Mr. O, but not this year.

and then again we could have some unknown crawling from the back of the lineup from last year to take the whole damn thing!

/agree It's going to be a close and there are lots of deserving competitors vying for it this time. I myself favor Dennis Wolf - would like to see him really dial it in and come away with a win this time. But it's impossible to know for sure. Kai is a likely winner, though of course Dex could repeat, Jay could take it back, Heath has a shot, and Victor is certainly right up there.

I am sorry, the guy is a beast, but Ruhl is a little too cartoonish big even for my taste. I don't think he looks good at all.Well, at least not compared to the others out there. Wolf I like though...is he in this year?

I don't understand so many folks ruling out the defending champ. I am not saying I think he will win, but so many of us are already writing him off as if he already lost it. He is the champ for a reason, and I am sure he will come out there prepared to defend his title.

Dexter will be prepared and probably show us the same old Dexter. The problems with his physique is that he loses his lines if he puts on more muscle, and he needs more muscle to deal with the likes of Martinez, Greene, and Heath. But if his lines get thrown out, so will his placing.
A sticky situation for "the blade".

Interesting. Now, I was not watching last year, and haven't really in a few years, but I thought it used to be that Dex was more about condition than size until last year. Then last year, Jay came in a little more conditioned and not as big, while Dex came in bigger than normal. Correct me if I am wrong. But I was under the impression he came in last year bigger and not as conditioned.

By the way, since we are talking pro BBing, maybe someone who knows these things will help me out. Like I said, I just recently started paying attention again. One of the guys I see a lot that I like is Frank McGrath. Guy is huge and strong like bull. So, I go looking into his accomplishments, and really, he has not done much. Is he out already, or still just working his way up the ladder? Why don't we see more of him in comps? Am I just overestimating how good he is, compared to the others?

He is good Bamma, but.... It's all about conditioning.. Being dialed in.. Some of the bodybuilders on here will agree with that, I am sure.. There is a very small window when getting dialed in.. If you miss that, you are done.. Holding a little water or whatever the case may be.

I agree about Kai. I think it's possible that they may eventually "let" him win as long as he continues to improve, gets with the IFBB progam and stays away from citrus. Untill that time however he will be keeping some guys out of the top 5 with no hope of getting the Sandow himself. It will be interesting for a while.

You are right Bamma, Frank has not done much since getting his pro card. I don't follow much besides the O so I'm not sure why he has not done more.

speaking of Kai getting with the IFBB program, it would be interesting to see if he places third. The politics in the Olympia is like a "One World Order" it seems at times. Yet, it will still be an great event
