I think shock training works well, but I dont think it is to much better than a set routine. Personally I like switching things up, it keeps things interesting.

i dont really think its muscle confusion i think they switch up the workouts like, instead of doing pulldowns for triceps on ur 2nd session of the week... switch it up to skull crushers just to workout some fibers the pulldowns might of not gotten...
but muscle confusion as a literal term.. no i think its bull****.

THIS.
I don't care what people say I agree that you should switch up, because for me to be satisfied I like to feel DOMS it makes me feel like i've accomplished something, it makes me think that my muscles are saying "ok ok i better grow now"
Just my 2 cents don't hate/neg.

Of course I believe in it. Haven't you ever tried the exact same workout from last week, only to find that your pump sucked and there was no hint of soreness? Then the week after you tried something completely different and the pump was back and you were sore as sh*t the next day? How can't you believe in it?

This thread reminds me of that troll who used to say he would "imagine" himself lifting like in his head, and he would be able to make gains off of it lmao. But yes, I do believe in muscle confusion, and workout regimes should be changed every few months or so IMO.

I dont fully beleive in it... cant a muscle only contract and relax? I do pretty much the same exercises every week but I will switch the amount of sets, reps and weight.
