Why do you want to try Blue Gene: Finished a bottle of massfx few weeks ago, gained a solid 5lbs. Massfx worked better then any creatine, multi, whey etc... and it gave me a killer mental attitude. Hopin this product can compare or best massfx, basically im lookin to see some gains.
What is the other supp of choice? Why did you pick this? White Flood, I like to be able to feel a product working, and NO products give me that feel. Really, Im a sucker for the pump.
Why do you think this supp of choice is a good stack to Blue Gene? My recent run of massfx was partnered with NO shotfun. The combo gave me a strong kick start in the gym and made me want to lift. I could kill myself in training and still recover, coming back stronger then ever.
Training experience (as much detail as possible.. TELL US ABOUT YOURSELF ! ! WHY should we choose you ! !): Started training after my first year of wrestling in ninth grade, I got lucky and found forums for lifting early. At first I was into bodyweight lifts, and worked up to pistols before ever putting a bar on my back. I guess the consistently drilled need to squat and squat deep on these forums really stuck with me. For a while almost all of my training efforts were devoted to squatting, I achieved a 275 lbs sqt at 135lbs bw after my sophmore wrestling season. Then I ran into drugs. I lost alot of gains, and only at the beginning of my senior year did i start to recooperate. After a bit of fresh training I started attending football lifting, which pushed my front sqt to a new PR of 245 for 3, with a now slightly higher bodyweight of 152lbs. Then i ran into drugs. Now ive got two training partners and training is a little different. I dont have any sports so training is my sport. Alot of what we do is odd lifting with barrels, sandbags, buckets and cars. Its added that fun aspect back to lifting and provides physical/mental strength.
Short Term Goal: OHP 185-currently in a race on the sherdog forums, deadlift 400
Other product reviews / logs you have done (with links): none, this is the first

Congrats guys, I've been using Orange Triad for about 4 years now. I like all the CL products, they've really made them taste better than they use too as well.

Why do you want to try Blue Gene: For strength gains
What is the other supp of choice? Why did you pick this? White flood = unlimited energy!
Why do you think this supp of choice is a good stack to Blue Gene?
Blue Gene + white flood for preworkout...need i say more? energy + strength = win
Training experience (as much detail as possible.. TELL US ABOUT YOURSELF ! ! WHY should we choose you ! !):
Gained 50 pounds coming from 123 pounds in Nov 2007, I do diet well, i train with intensity. But recently i've converted from BBing into PLing in prepping for a october competition because in BBing, to win is pretty much based on opinion..in PL you won, because you lifted more than anyone else...NO one can lie about that.
Short Term Goal:
Improve my deadlift to 400 pounds
Improve my bench to 270 pounds

Why do you want to try Blue Gene: As an older lifter, it's harder for me to maintain an anabolic state, therefore, it's harder to make gains. I've used Controlled Lab products in the past and have had great success.
What is the other supp of choice? Why did you pick this? BLUE UP. Back to age, test goes down as we get older and I think it would benefit me.
Why do you think this supp of choice is a good stack to Blue Gene? I think this would be a good stack. An anabolic matrix mixed with a test booster should be ideal for making gains.
Training experience (as much detail as possible.. TELL US ABOUT YOURSELF ! ! WHY should we choose you ! !): I started lifting four years ago. The original intent was to just get an old body back in shape. After about a year, however, I lost some motivation. That's when I found powerlifting. Suddenly, my training and motivation took off and I've been training for strength ever since.
I've taken that training and put it to use in competition. Here's a record of my meets:
- 2008 NASA Colorado State, 2nd place 242 lbs/Master 1 class
- 2009 NASA Colorado State, 1st place 242 lbs/Master 1 class (state record for squat and deadlift)
- 2009 NASA Bench Nationals (competed in push/pull), 1st place 275 lbs/Master 1 class
Future '09 meets:
- 2009 NASA Colorado Grand (Aug 15)
- 2009 NASA Colorado Regionals (Nov 14)20
Short Term Goal: My short term goals are simple and 3-lift based. By the end of 2010, I'd like a 500 squat, 300 bench, 550 deadlift (all raw)
Other product reviews / logs you have done (with links): I've only done one in-depth log. It was on a Green Bulge/White Blood stack -- http://forum.bodybuilding.com/showth...te+blood+older

Why do you want to try Blue Gene: Looks like it would help bunches with training and recovery.
What other supplements will you be stacking with Blue Gene and how do you plan to dose these? GM, GG, Multi, Fish oil, flax oil, egcg, Now beta-alanine
What kind of promotion/contests do you like (broad): The kind where i get to try new supplements from my favorite company and go bust my ass at the gym
Training experience (as much detail as possible.. TELL US ABOUT YOURSELF ! ! WHY should we choose you ! !): I've been training about 2 years now. When I started training seriously I weighed 148 from the previoius high school wrestling season. I didn't know how to lift at all really. I started on machines then as I began visiting this site I learned how to do some real lifts. First it was bench then squats and finally deadlifts. After that I began to find great accessory work for these lifts and my lifts began to grow overnight. I saw my bench shooting up 5lbs a week starting at 135 and working all the way up to 195x2. My squat was really just the bar until i began to learn form and have my training partner critique my every move. Squats went up from 135 to 315 within no time. Deadlift...well i kept this especially light because i didn't want to get injured seeing i had never done it before. Over time i added more and more weight as i read more and more articles and watched more movies about how to improve my deadlift. From the beginning at 135 all the way up to 405 I deadlifted sumo(i squat sumo too). Within the last year I messed up my thumb pretty bad in rugby and it began to interfere with my lifting routines. The doctor told me that as long as i played rugby that this was going to happen. It prevented me from deadlifting because it killed my grip strength and i just couldnt hold onto the weight, it wasn't very comfortable it on bench either. I could still do squats fine. Now that my thumb is better I have my bench at 185(almost previous max). Now i'm doing 5x5 for squats and deadlift and drop sets for bench. I'm at the gym pretty much everyday unless i need to study, whether i'm there to lift, do cardio or just have a place to watch the football game. Currently I have been dropping weight slowly but surely, not loosing any strength but definetly cutting bodyfat significantly. As of the start of summer i weighed 210 and now i'm 192. I'm not really trying to lose weight, its just shedding off because of my year long bulk that got me up to 210.
Short Term Goal: Build strength, Lose fat(coming off easy right now)
Other product reviews / logs you have done (with links): n/a. this would be my first.
Disclaimer: I have read the terms above completely. I agree to them 100%. I do NOT have a medical condition. I do NOT feel that I MAY have a medical condition.
