It depends on what you have at home. Try browsing some of these articles and see what you can come up with.

Shaun,

I'd start with a full-body circuit 3x/week with one compound exercise for every major muscle group, including core (abs). Before I can give you exercise recommendations, I need to know what equipment you have access to at home...

I also recommend cardio 3x/week and 1 day of rest. If you haven't done cardio recently, start with 20 minutes of a steady walk.

But to be honest, fat loss is in the diet. You need to find out how many calories you need to eat per day to lose about 2 lbs per week. Any more than that risks losing muscle mass and dropping your metabolism.

For starters, multiply your bodyweight x 12, and eat that many calories per day. Start with 50% of your calories from lean protein sources, 35% lean carbs & 15% healthy fats.

Weigh yourself every morning upon waking after going to the bathroom, and see how much you lose in the first 2 weeks. Write down your weight or even better, post your weight on this thread!

If you lose more than 5 pounds in the first 2 weeks, increase your calories slightly. If less than 2 pounds, decrease your calories slightly.

Keep posting and congratulations on your decision to get motivated!!!
