How to Increase Bench from 225 to 315

I started working out heavily this summer and my 2 month goal is to move from 225 to 315 in my bench. Currently I can do 3 x 8 of 225, I want to work my way up to doing at least 5 reps at 315.

Any hints?

Thanks

225 to 315 in 2 months.... steroids, if anything, would probably be the only way
i would suggest getting a more realistic 2 month goal

You could move your bench up plenty using the Bill Starr 5x5 (Madcow version) but I'm not sure that you could get that kind of strength increase in a couple of months. You're plenty strong as it is.

I am not sure if you could even do it at all. But the only way I could see would be to follow the SS programming, which calls for basically increasing your lifts 3 times per 2 weeks (on bench press). Normally, you would be adding 5 pounds per session, but you would have to go up by 7.5 to get a 90 pound increase in 8 weeks. Now, this is still not likely. As an intermediate or better lifter, making that kind of gain is just not gonna be so easy to do. If you try, please be sure to work the back as you go so you don't destroy the shoulder joints.

from your picture you seem to have a nice chest. Really is that all you can do about 245? honestly i think you can possibly get to 280 and call that a major success in 2 months 315 would be amazing and i would beg to ask you how you did that. But honestly the only way i could see you hitting 315 is through steroids, not joking either i no a few guys who went on the juice and improved there lifts by 100 pounds within a couple of months. however i would advice against doing any type of drugs, they are just short term solutions with life long consequences.
