So Izman, when are you going to meet Dexter and do the Muscletech skit? I liked the one last year with Madden and Jay Cutler!
I'd like to hear the story about the phone call, what was it like? What was your reaction! Did they pull the same gag on you like they did Todd last year?
And what are you gonna do with the money!

A Word from the Patriarch
I've really enjoyed having you all as friends through this 6 months. I, for one, have moved on to new challenges and goals. A year from now I plan on being a "less skinny" but older man, still digging out the posing trunks for progress pics.
Drop by " Help OMS Prepare for a Show thread to give advice or check out last Friday's 7-weeks-out pictures.
As the "patriarch" on this thread, I want to see you all continue to excel not only in your fitness goals, but in all facets of your life, just like my signature below counsels.
Congratulations to the 10 of "my children" who were selected, but as your "grandpa" I think you're ALL SPECIAL.

I made that statement before the winners were announced....it was a fear that the judging would sway more towards who could drop the most weight without preservation of muscle and that happened with many of the choices. I don't really care, just shows you never know what they are looking for, ironic though coming from "Muscle"tech

Hey Congrats to all of the winners. Hey Izman my 12 y/o daughter loves your abs. Great work to all of you. I didn't reconize some of the winners. I don't even remember if they ever placed a reply to this thread. Maybe I will finish next year, time will tell.

i don't really buy that. most people just think they have more muscle then they really do so they freak when they cut and shrink. i am aloooot stronger now then i was before the contest if i lost alot of muscle like u say then it wouldnt be possible for me to already b stronger then before, muscle dont grow that fast....

Congrats to the winners! Many of us hit our own personal bests even if we didn't place...I know I sure did. I lost 33 lbs and still put on some good muscle during the time. My pictures sure were crappy though!
Keep on training!

Definitely. Congratulations! I personally think Iz is very deserving. I care not if anyone disagrees.

Thanks for the props man!!! I already gave credit to the guys who I thought earned it! I saw alot of transformations that could have easily taken one of the other 6 spots! But it is what it is! This transformation has definetly given me motivation to come in jacked in my first upcoming contest!
Great job on your transformation as well! You managed to lose alot of fat and keep alot of that mass you have! Thats not an easy thing to do!
I want to give a shout out to Team Face for making an amazing transformation as well! whether it was noticed or not!

I noticed! He did fantastic. So did you! I only wish that I could have done better. No way I would have placed either way, but I should have worked even harder. As you said it isn't enough to just lose fat.

I still think you did great man! That back shot of you, your afters look like a different man! Don't let the end of this contest stop you! All that weight you lost should give you that much more motivation to strive for your final goal! I'm sure you worked just as hard as the rest of us! Keep up the great work man!

I had you pegged way higher on the brackets, I thought a close first for you. At least you placed. As for me I will probably give it a shot next year for $hits and giggles since I'm in love with the sport now. To bad some people are going about this the wrong way and hating.
You stayed positive and a lot of the guys that are regulars stayed cool which is nice to see.
Now what, what's next?

Good for you!
What an impressive achievement to all the winners. Congratulations!!! I thought everyones transformation was beautiful and am tremendously happy for your success. Best wishes to all for a job well done.

End Results.
Wow Im so Happy The Results were announced now I can get on with my life.
I had alot of fun with this contest.
However I Figured From The Get-Go That I Probably wasn't in bad enough shape to place.
But I Didn't Lose Any Muscle And I'm Turning Heads At the Beach So Im Not Angry.
I could have named 15 or so characters out there that had a better transformation from me. But I wanted to wait just to be sure haha. For everyone who did it naturally, Great Work. It's hard to achieve anything in this flawwed sport. For those of you who cheated, Im shaking my finger at you, you know who you are.
For Those Of Us Angry At the Results, Don't try to bring those due credit down. Just work harder next time.
To the Repeats- Good Work Guys, even Better then last year.
Of the 3- Specialkr takes it. Great work man.
In the end. Im a lifer. Im gonna be in the gym, for years to come. I can't stay away if I wanted to.
Keep It Real Homies'.
*Brad.

I'll be right there with you, Chris! I learned a lot about dieting and cutting, and I know where I made mistakes that I can avoid in the future. Maybe you and I can battle it out for first in 5 months!
I will be bulking for the rest of the year, lifting heavy, trying to bring up my legs and back. I will throw out this challenge to you, and Pack, and Ruben, Respectmyhouse, and all the guys who didn't lose as much fat as we would have liked, and the guys that were with us for a while but didn't finish, like MrNexInLine, Madles, Alex-Kane, ericglo.... let's do it again, and do better next time! I will still need more bulking, and cutting practice so I can try the stage somewhere down the line!
Thanks for the opportunity, MuscleTech and Bodyspace..... if I hadn't stumbled upon this contest back in December, I'd still be just another middle aged guy sitting on the couch getting fat. Now I have goals, and dreams, and exciting stuff to look forward to in bodybuilding!
Also, it would be cool if you BB.com guys could keep this thread open for a few months, so we can see what everybody's up to, and maybe encourage some guys and gals who might get frustrated, and stop training.
Again, congrats to all winners, and looking forward to what the Izman has to say!

Now THAT'S the best attitude. Your muscles may be turning heads at the beach, but in the long run, your good heart and sincerity will bring people to your door.

I really appreciate that compliment! I haven't stopped yet. Though my progress has stalled. I don't know why, I have to figure it out. I'm striving and working hard. Hopefully shows in my future. We'll see I suppose. How about you? Any shows in your future?

ohh hay there kiddo's, congrats to all the winners and participants. Specialk u amazed me again but even more so this time around...surprised u didn't place (as well as others like animaliz) but i think i know why, although it was sort of already mentioned. I do think that others made better transformations than bunny though she did do a pretty good job. Cheers
p.s. what it do Kaptain-Curt? lol

What it do?!
I can't wait for next year! I'm progressively building up my hate levels so that by the time they release next contest's list of winners I'll be a world breaker for rage!
 grrr
Wait. Did you mean me or another Curt?

I will be bulking for the rest of the year, lifting heavy, trying to bring up my legs and back. I will throw out this challenge to you, and Pack, and Ruben, Respectmyhouse, and all the guys who didn't lose as much fat as we would have liked, and the guys that were with us for a while but didn't finish, like MrNexInLine, Madles, Alex-Kane, ericglo.... let's do it again, and do better next time! I will still need more bulking, and cutting practice so I can try the stage somewhere down the line!

For sure man.. Lets just hope we can find a contest to be in next year. If MuscleTech doesn't put one on then I will keep you and the others updated if I find a different one.
Respect goes out to: animaliz
You could have been a a$$ about not being able to place this year because you placed last year but you kept cool and that's good man. I look forward to going up against you in future online contests.
