Well first thing was first, I had to make sure that this was going to be more than just a phase. I had to make it a habit, 3-4 a week for like an hour for the first six months. Didnt really follow a diet. I had to make sure I wasnt going to hate this right off the bat. I slowly evolved into 5-6 days a week day 1:chest and tri, day 2: back and bi, day 3: shoulder traps, and core day 4: legs, day 5: fore arms, calves, core. then on day six:what ever didnt feel worked out enough. cardio is a must with interval speed training. As far as eating I stopped eataing junk. Focused more on my carb and protien intake, lowered calorie intake. I just jumped on Mitotropin so Ill keep you guys posted on that program.

Still a work in progress, and not quite where I want to be BF%-wise. Cutting until the end of the summer, then on to a clean bulk. I'm coming down from 210 in April 2008.

This is great. I am a very similar build at about 182lbs right now. It's helpful to see someone achieving a similar goal. About 160 is my current goal.
Good work and thanks for the motivation.

It looks like I've been spinning my wheels, but after some bad weeks, I've actually gone up, then back down about 5 pounds. I'm on the right track for the moment.

There's another one I found, taken the same day as the other before pic.
Keep at it, and the best advice I can give to get the results quickly, is stick to one cheat meal per week, and cut out alcohol as much as possible.
It's taken me so much longer than it should have because I started to get lax when people started to notice I was looking a lot smaller. So a couple of beers on a Friday night turned into 4-5 on Friday and Saturday night, Sunday too if we had company. There's a time to indulge and it should be memorable.

Snap, well done. I have a goal around 160 with a very similiar build, mid 180s at the moment, down from 210. Great to see the sort of thing I can expect .

Good job to everyone...I am proud of all of you. This thread has become my inspiration to keep working-out. I'm about 2 months in of changing my life around. I've been eating a WHOLE lot better and have been going to the gym doing cardio and lifting weights 5-6 days a week. Also been going to church. For some odd reason if I don't go to church I don't work out...I don't get it maybe a physiological things. Thanks to this thread I have something to motivate me when I'm feeling lazy. Thanks again...Congrats to you all and I hope you all reach you goal if your not already there.

Amazing thread for people that need some type of motivation. I am quite large myself and is nice to know that if you stick with a plan and keep the dedication, anything can be achieved! One day my pics will be up here, count on it.........just not anytime soon, lol! Maybe this time next year..........
