Help please! Iv'e hit a road block

So I have been training now for about 8 months.. have gotten some pretty good gains so far but im a bit confused about my diet. I'm 5'2 121lbs with a 17% body fat still.. everytime I seem to switch up my diet and up my cardio to get rid of the fat my muscle growth comes to a screeching hault! How do I lose the fat while still gaining muscle size?

At your weight and body fat level you really need to do one or the other. With higher body fat levels its possible to add strength while losing fat. But since your very lean all ready you can only handle one at a time. If you want to add some size I recommend going on a bulk and then cutting away the little bit of excess fat you will put on while adding muscle.
