Excellent news!
Serge is on his way back!
And about doctors who say he wont fully recover?
Nonsense, I believe in Serges mind and body power. He will be back.

What everyones thinking of my idea of switching each week between Serge program and a 5x5 program? like:
Week 1 : Serge's program
Week 2 : Reg Park's program
Week 3 : Serge's program
etc...
The idea here is I love Serge's program, it get me big pumps and make my muscles biggers but don't make me stronger fast enough and strength is one of my goal in weightlifting.

IDK why I'm bloated? There is some bloating right above my bellybutton. Anyone know or have a similar experience?

Thanks Blender,
Its above and below bellybutton. On July 4 visited sisters and had a few beers and a shot of rum. I barely drink, because of my bodybuilding effort.
So on Monday I woke up with a sharp pain on my right side (next to my ab muscle). Couldn't sit up, move to get on my side, in bed. Man did it hurt. Today I finally have releif and the swelling did go down. I'm assuming the condition caused the swelling/bloating, but I've had some bloating in the past caffeine? coffee? soft drinks? sweetener substitutes (splenda, sweet n low). So I don't know. I pretty sure its not Serge training routine related.
Anyone know of bloating caused by some foods?

Yes, when you eat slow carbohydrates (I'm not sure about fast ones like sugar, frutose...) : oat meal, pasta... you should avoid drinking water approximately 45minutes before until 45minutes after the meal. Because those carbs can lead a lot of water in abdominals and make you puffy.
An other good idea would be to drink as much green tea as you can. It's a good diuretic, proven anti-cancer, one of the healthiest thing in the long run.

Ah, I got proof! I went to Denny's for a grand slam and I finished a big bowl of oatmeal, and then downed a glass of water. My stomach was so bloated out and it hurt to walk because I was so full and almost threw up Now I know why.

you'll also take benefits from doing a kinda random training program.
exemple:
wk1 serges program
wk2 dorian yates's program
wk3 reg park's program
wk4 program *
* =
exercice one:
with 10 rm :
5 reps 5 sec rest
5reps 5 sec rest
5reps
with 8rm
4 reps 8 sec rest
4 reps 8 sec rest
4reps
with 6 rm
2/3 reps 10 sec rest
2 reps 10 sec rest
2 reps
exercice 2, 3, and maybe 4 : the same
the more you change you program, the more your muscles will react by trying to adapt themeself to the new stress

Why do you all keep saying things like this and wanting people to intervene and that he is getting inadequate care? What grounds do you have to make statements like these because they are some pretty bold assertions.

Really sad...
When i visited Serge i saw his first wife and one of his grand-daughter. And they said that he have many visitors each day, notably from the Rem gym where Serge was training.
The medical staff do his job, he is in France not in Somalia for example so stop to say that nobody take care of him.
I' ll visit him soon and i' ll write here news from him

What WaterBlender said plus English is not his first language, so his thoughts might not be conveyed very succinctly due to vocabulary and grammar limitations.
