Bikini contest- my first time
Im 22 and will be competing in my first bikini contest on sept 19/09. Right now I am lifting 4 days a week and doing 1 hr cardio 5 days a week. I eat clean, lean protein, veggies, tons of water and have a cheat meal once a week. Im beginning to become stressed, because I dont think ill be ready. Im 5'8.5 and 135 ..... my fiancee says I'll be fine...but he has never trained a women before (he has done several bodybuilding competitions). I just want to look amazing when I stand up there.....Ive noticed changes in the past few weeks....does anyone have any tips or advice??? that would be amazing
Thanks
Samantha

It's tough to say without more information on yourself. Most the (useful) advice you will get is dependent on things like your current leanness and bodytype, so pictures are always helpful. For starters, I'd say that if you feel like you are behind schedule, cut out that cheat meal! Or at least reduce the frequency.

Lets hope it's still a national qualifier. That whole CBBF garbage is a total mess right now.
Good luck!

Oh, that's a Canada thing. Is the CBBF not associated with the NPC? I'm rather confused with the whole IFBB world, but I'm crossing over this year. Is CBBF for Canadians only?

Canadian BodyBuilding Federation ... so yes only Canada.
There's quite the stir going on right now in Ontario and nobody really knows what to make of it yet. The only organization that had a link to the cbbf and ifbb just got booted from it's position. So in less than 8wks there's a national qualifier and nobody knows if it's actually going to count anymore. What a mess and total stress for the athletes trying to diet and train for this.
