sounds like some backyard wrestling school, i would never in a million years train with a unknown trainer, id rather train my self.
if i was going to spend money on a trainer, it would be from a respected company like upw or roh

Well, it's not a backyard wrestling school & Eric will tell you himself, he may not be the best but he will train you right. After all he was trained by Dr. Tom Prichard.

BECAUSE what you're posting commands a response. Has this guy actually been anywhere or done anything in this business other than being trained to wrestle? How are we to know he can do everything properly himself let alone train others? I just gotta say, if I were to enter into the business I would want to go somewhere or do something in it and that would mean I'd want to be trained by someone who has been there.

& once again you are entitled to your opinion. He wrestles in little indy shows for his experience. He only trained because he wanted to become a promoter. He says he doesn't want to run a promotion without knowing the ins & out. I will PM you a link.....
Btw, that pic is my good side.... good thing i'll be in a mask. LOL

Alright man, alright. Good luck with the promotion.
I am healthy and athletic now and when I have the money.... I'll probably be a bit safer and alot wiser and look elsewhere to learn but good luck with this and good luck to all those on this board who may go to this school.

I'd go to CHIKARA Wrestle Factory or the New Japan dojo if I was ever gonna train.

Most people attend several schools during their training anyway, so it doesn't hurt to start somewhere other than New Japan or Ring of Honor.
Just sayin'

I don't know why anyone, at this point, would want to train at the ROH school. They haven't had one guy come out of there who is even remotely good.

Yeah. I thought about it for a second, but then I realized that no one who's trained there has ever made it even into the midcard in ROH, let alone anywhere in any other promotion.

Yup. The lead trainers there have obviously been some pretty good wrestlers over the years, but being a good wrestler doesn't necessarily translate into being a good teacher. I have on very good record that Shawn Michaels is a horrible teacher. He can do it in the ring, but when he has to explain it to others he just can't.
It's just like how some school teachers are great and some are horrible and boring. Certain guys can teach wrestling well. Some guys who have been in the business for a while are horrible teachers and some guys who are pretty new to the business are great teachers.

Wrestling questions
My friend and I, whom you have already spoken to, are serious about joining wrestling. We are serving in Afghanistan right now, but we are both getting oit when we are done with this tour. I have grown up watching wresling on TV, but I have never wrestled. I have trained in combatives and a small level of Jiu Jitsu. I am aware of the many prattfalls that come along with the business, but only from books. My friend and I would appreciate anything that would help.
Sincerely,
Ric Pellegrini

If you are atheletic, in good shape & have the heart & hunger to become a pro wrestler this is your chance. Please respond by PM'ing me if you would like more details.

I plan on training at 2CW when I hit my weight goal (hopefully by the end of the summer!), but I'll hafta remember this school too, always good to try and work with people who have talked and walked it!

I wish there was a way of deleting this all together. LOL
But for those still interested.
ChampionshipWrestlingTV.com those guys can help you.
I currently work for them. They have a nationally syndicated tv show.
Former OVW Champion Brian Logan who was train in Smoky Mountain Wrestling by White Lightening Tim Horner before moving to OVW is part of this promotion & trains in TN & WV. He's also done jobs in WWF & WCW.
So if this thread can be deleted so be it.. if not, just some updated useless info.
Have a great day.

Brian Logan is a great trainer and a damn good worker. I worked about a 6 month long angle with him in WV. He is a top rate guy. He has a hair trigger for his temper, but he is a great guy.
