Salt Substitute; Unhealthy?

Does anyone know anything about Salt Substitutes? Are they okay to use or worse than using real salt?

Salt substitute is mainly potassium chloride...

If you look at the FDA nutrition lables, you will notice that sodium has a "less than" punched before its reccomended allowance, while potassium does not, which I infer means at least.

Anyway too much of anything is a bad thing. I personally use salt and salt substitute on the same meal so I get the amounts of sodium and potassium that I need. I might be wandering off here, but I think Mrs. Dash on the other hand is just a bunch of herbs, and herbs are freaken nutritious powerhouses.
