I love muscle memory

had to take off 7 weeks off of training, spent those 7 weeks smoking pot and eating 1000 calories a day too busy to eat though I still ate eggs often which helped me keep testosterone up....

Walked in the gym 20 days ago with spaggetti arms loose abs non-existent chest flat shoulders and no biceps. All the 18 yr old guys were as big as me or slightly bigger and the big boys were all monsters compared to me and i weighed 170 lbs 5'10"...

Today I woke up from a hangover drank good fliuds good meal hit the gym and BAM huge pump all muscles thick and full of creatine and beta-alanine and 2 days worth of super carb eating. Veins covering every inch of forearms and biceps and traps elevated like a load of bread from the back view

anyone else have an awesome experience with muscle memory to where it all comes back within 2-3 weeks?

7 weeks would make me go insane...but i notice a week or two off always results in superman like strength gains(serious) for example i benched 225 for 25 reps the other day right after 2 week vacation. full muscle recovery is awesome.

More like motivation not to over train.

I have the same experience. Take a couple weeks off and then within 2-4 weeks I'm back up to where I was when I had stopped. Which means for the next 8 weeks or so I'm making gains beyond where I was when I had stopped.

I always try to take at least a week off after every 12-14 weeks, depending on how things are going, just for that purpose.

this does work pretty well, I take a week off every 8-12 weeks, I must say that week is the worst week to get through, no 1 my diet is a routine now, so I still eat the same. no 2. I just enjoy working out so when I cant do what I like it really sucks, not to mention that I gained like 4 lbs this week hahah but,... I was that much stronger and my muscles did look that much bigger after the pumps kicked in
