This was the day before yesterday..
Bike,
15 minutes, 13 resistance +
200ish calories
Leg Press
5 @ 360lb + sled
5 @ 380lb + sled
5 @ 405lb + sled
5 @ 450lb + sled
5 @ 450lb + sled
.. other stuff, I forgot.
I've been trying to eat a lot post-workout and all night following the workout to do everything possible for recovery. At this point I want to get my lungs and stamina back on par before I worry about fat.
If I can get my cardio - skipping and running, and my weight lifting strength back in - then the fat will be no issue.
Hooray for food!

Did cardio today.
- Lap Around Complex
- 5 Pushups (sore from yesterday)
- 50 Crunches
- 100 Skips
- Repeat 3x -
Additional hour or so of random cardio and breathe control... threw some tires around like a hulk - in a swing motin using hips and entire body swinging like a bat. Threw tires into ground using both sides - 6-10 times to exhaustion.
Jumped over tire stacks, stretching yoga style intermixed. Trying to control recovery of heartbeat and breathing after an intense moment.
I have a heavy-bag I need to hang.. and a lot of kick boxing instructional videos.

I've been working on my gym attendance consistency. I want to stabilize things a bit before I start posting workouts.
I've been alternating Push and Pull days, without much variety. I really don't want to focus too much on legs because mine are pretty big already.
I did do some single leg leg press the other day though just to make sure I have full control and flexibility over my glutes.
My cardio is also.. a joke. I haven't spent much time running, but I need to tough it up and get back into it.
More to come..

Wednesday - Went for a jog outside, probably 2 miles. Alternating jog/walk after every block. My cardio is awful!
Friday
Flat BB Bench
8 @ 155lb
7 @ 155lb
5 @ 155lb
2x4 @ 155lb
Seated Cable Row - narrow grip
10 @ 130lb
10 @ 140lb
8 @ 140lb
DB Fly
3x8 @ 30lb
Lateral Shoulder Raise
2x10 @ 30lb
8 @ 30lb
Wide Grip Lat Pull Down
3x6 @ 160lb
Preacher Curl
2x8 @ 50lb
6 @ 50lb
Treadmill
.5 miles @ 6mph
I had intended to do 5x5 for the bench, but the first set felt light.. but then I pushed too hard because I failed the last rep on the 2nd set, and it went downhill from there.
I really have trouble with eating. I am definitely very impulsive about it, in a very unhealthy way. I can't control it. I'll eat something that I know I don't NEED to eat because I'm not hungry, and think that I shouldn't be eating it WHILE I eat it. I really have a hard time controlling the urge.

Bike, 10 minutes, 13 (of 20) resistance
Swimming, 5 sets of 2 laps, rest in between
Steam Room
Was a decent workout, my strength is clearly rising - albeit slowly and still very far from what I used to do.
I like using all 3 forms of cardio. It seemed to be a good mixup, though the running was definitely despised by me. I hate it, but I love what it does for me AFTER the fact.
Today is Wednesday, and it's been a long day. I had a job interview which was desperately needed. I've been out of work since January, and am running very low on funds.
My car is giving me hella trouble and is just another tick on my negative aura lately, and I have it torn down right now - but it sucks because I have no tools besides a screwdriver and a crescent wrench. Huge pain in the ass while working on an import. The car is overheating, and all of my tools are 6 hours away.
To give an update - I moved from Southern Utah to the North, or Salt Lake City. I'm living with my cousin, and the living situation is pretty poor, I won't go into detail. I've been here for about a month, and have been somewhat actively looking for work. By that I mean I've only applied for 10 or so places, but that should be enough, right? Anytime I needed work prior I could get away with 2-3 applications and secure a solid job.
Send some positive energy my way and let's hope this job works out! For proof on my desperation, I have a warrant out for my arrest because I owe a $90 ticket because my car isn't registered, and hasn't been for 6 months (woot, I'm awesome). It failed inspection at the time of renewal because the power steering rack went out, and just the part alone is $4-600. Not counting labor. It also needed new rotors to pass.
Now on top of that, it is overheating.
I also have 2 parking tickets because I didn't have a front plate (**** authority) and ANOTHER ticket which requires me to appear in court because I forgot to put new insurance cards in my car after moving up here. It is insured so that's not a problem, but the cop also cited me for no registration, which I'll have to pay something for I'm sure.
Utah also says I owe them $350 for taxes, which is BS because I'm 22 and paid a good chunk each paycheck.. so I need to find the time and way to dispute that. I think there was an error somehow on my tax submission.
There's more.. but whatever. Bottom line, I'm a good person and I don't deserve this ****.
Anyways, I had an interview today and it went fairly well - though I am worried about my transporation. My car overheated about 5 blocks from the location, and I had no time to walk. I went up to the first decent individual I saw and put my plea on the line, I simply told him my problem and asked for a ride up the street, he said no problem and saved my ass. I've encountered this kind of hospitality twice now. People will usually say yes to giving you a ride from the gas station if you look them in the eye, and simply ask them. Now for the job, I may be required to do a 30+ minute commute. THis could suck if my car decides to be a hoe-bag. Hopefully tomorrow goes well and I can get my car functional again with a very low pricetag.
Umm.. gym tomorrow, maybe? Probably the exact same routine I've done the past two days.. I don't see a problem having one workout for a few weeks, my body isn't going to plateau, and without my inconsistency on days on and off, I don't think I'll have a problem with recovery.
I went home this past weekend and brought some creatine and BCAA with me, so will start taking those in-time.
Once I find solid work and get some expenses resolved, I'll look into another cycle of Havoc or the like.

Man Derick ... Sorry to hear about that stuff going on. I know what you mean about the taxes... The past 3+ years I always seem to OWE money now I also owe a local school district $302 for occupational taxes WAH?!
Sucks to hear about your car giving you problems. If its the same car you had in your last journal, It sounds like everyone is targeting your car. Hope things get better for you soon

Hey MCG, thanks for the kind words!
I think I have the car thing figured out - I'm hoping it's just the thermostar (I already replace a few other things and checked other stuff). Luckily the part is cheap, sub-$20, but the tools will cost me a bit.
I've been away from the gym, sadly. It's about 50 blocks away from where I'm living, and there is no way in hell I'm walking that.
Ill do a search next week for a closer location - but I really like the one I've been going too since it's clean, and is 24-hours.
The benefit of not having a car is that I have been walking a lot. The other day I went on a 3 hour walk / adventure to the car parts store and then back home. It was very nice, besides the uncomfortable feeling from wearing flip-flops.
