Good strong workout tonight. Happy with the response and the lack of pain. Worked back and biceps in the medium heavy range and felt pretty damn good about it. First workout of the week and should be hitting the gym again on Friday.
I'm facinated by nthe Mcnair nurder. Talk about getting involved with a pyscho. 20 years old and her life was falling apart. Give me a break. Glad I got a stable, normal marriage and life.

Hope all is well with you and your intense situations. Should be enjoying the summer and all it has to offer with those that make you happy.
Are you hitting camp fitty at the end of the moth?
I am well but my situations are still a bit intense. LOL
When have you known me not to have intense situations?
Divorce should be final on Aug 27th. In fact I just got back from court.
I have been enjoyinig myself much more lately.
I was able to go away with a friend for both Memorial day and the 4th of july.
We spent the 4th of July at Summerfest in Milwaukee. I had not been to Summerfest
in about 10-15 years and it was awsome. Great bands, nice weather, good food and cold beer..........what more could a man ask for? Ok....don't answer that. LOL
Life is more than fine in that department.
I just got my invite from Fitty for Camp Fitty Weekend.
I am not sure if I will be able to make it but I really want too.
Lots of things have changed at work for me.....mostly good but some bad.
More overtime and more traveling lately. We have a new Director of Engineering
that I think was part of the SS in a past life. LOL
I am going to see what I can do to get to Camp Fitty, but if I don't,
I know I can count on Fitty and the rest of you all to eat and drink my portions. LOL
Seriously, if I can make it....I WILL !
On McNair, Michael Jackson ect.........
And I thought I had problems. Not a chance.....mine are nothing compared to theirs.
Have a great Week Nuc...........keep in touch.
Pete

Good to see you have some enjoyment. Afterall, got to have something to keep the motivation up. And if you talk to Fitty, he'll tell you his freedom aniversary was one of the best things that ever happened to him.
On the Overtime front, I know what kind of strain that is. Most of this year has been spent on overtime for me. Really put a crimp on what I've been able to do in the gym. Had pretty much 4 months of 75 hour work weeks that definitely took there toll.
Hope to see you at the Fitty weekend, if not we'll catch up with you later.

Good gym workout. Hit legs and reverted back to an old standing leg press machine. Provides some good work and hits my legs just right. I'm still a plate down from where I want to be, but that will come with some more consistent training. Just have to avoid the injury bug I've had for the past, oh, make that damn near all this year. Have to say that I'm close to injury free right now for the first time in a long time.
Can't wait for the UFC fights tonight.

Thanks for not wanting to hit it. Restores my confidence.
Not a bad day in the gym. Ego is staying in check even though I can't move the weight I used to as the injury still heals up. Did chest, delts and tris and finally got around to doing some pressing movements. Hit the incline and didn't work very heavy, but it did feel good doing movements I haven't done in months. Did some push presses for delts and only worked with a buck 35. Back to ground zero there. Finished with some pushdowns for tris. Had a mere 65 pounds on there, but was able to knock out nearly 100 reps in three sets. Light until I feel more confident.

Good workoutout after a rather stressful week so far. Did back and biceps and the recovery plan is working well. The weights aren't up there where they should be yet, but things are coing along and numbers are increasing all the time. The injury bug will hopefully stay away for a couple of months and I can continue to rebuild my mass.
Worked cable rows, lat pulldowns and good mornings for back and drag curls and cable curls for biceps. As mentioned, the weight is down but I was pain free during the entire workout.

Never made the Saturday morning workout. Wasn't very prepared for night shift after not having any in 3 weeks and the body wasn't up to it. So I went today aftger work and had a grand workout. Did legs and hit them pretty damn well. Did a bunch of supersets between leg presses and ham curls. about 45 minutes in the gym and outa there with plenty of energy throughout the workout.
Got 2 more nights of work then a few days off. Can't wait til this time next week.

Day off yesterday and caught up on some sleep. Much needed.
Be hitting the gym a little later this morning and then the tattoo shop for some new art work. Should also be watching the boy's palyoff baseball game later in the evening if it doesn't rain.
Looking forward to the weekend.

And kicked ass in the gym this morning. Chest and delts and tris and damn my elbow is gettting better. No pain and getting back into respectible weights as well. No new exercises, but it felt good to be pushing better amounts of metal.
Got a lot of other things on the plate for today, so I'll keep this pretty short.
Later!

Hi Brian, I haven't done these on an incline, but you have given me an idea. I'll try a set that way next time up and see how it feels. And Camp was greeat!
Back from camp and looking forward to the next 2 weeks. Got the gym scheduled for Monday and tuesday and then work TWTh. Probably get on more shot at the gym thurs or fri. Feeling pretty good and don't have the injury bug to deal with right now so I am pleased. Got a 2 week vacation after that and will only be in the Wolf's Liar to watch, not train, during that timeframe.

Always great seeing you Barb! Thanks for the comment.
Had a good workout this morning, leg day. Did squats and they were pretty slopppy form wise. Still couldn't get the right grip on the bar to have it tight on the back. Getting better but not there fully. Did some of the stability ball caf work that I talked to Tom about. SHot the video on that and will post later this afternoon.
Got to go mow the lawn. More to follow.

So here's the vid, got to work on full flexation of the foot. Hits all parts of the lower leg. If you have a ball at the gym, you'll like doing these. Couple of sets is the way to go and add weight after getting used to the movement.
