Reached goal and not motivated now

So I just reached my goal of 115lbs... yes I know its not much of a gain but It took me a while and I'm proud of myself for finally reaching it. Heres my problem...

I can't get motivated to work out unless I have a specific goal in mind. I know my body is no where near perfect and I would like to be in better shape but the "get in better shape" goal just doesn't do it for me. I need numbers! Not just in my weight but in the amount I can lift or distance I can run, chin ups I can do, etc. Goal setting has never been an issue in my past. I am 5'6 @ about 18%bf... keep in mind I have a very small frame. Any ideas on what I can work on to get me hyped about working out again!? This not being motivated about fitness is getting me down...

At your height, another 10 pounds of muscle would be awesome!

Branch out. Take up a new activity. Run a marathon. Go swimming. Ride a mountain bike. Try rock climbing. Help someone else get in shape or train with someone better than you.

Great advice on the 10 lbs of muscle. Something to definitely consider.

At 5'6, 115 sounds super lean. How's your muscle density? Maybe you can concentrate on lifting heavier, and put actual numbers as goals. Like... "I want to deadlift more than my own weight" or something along the lines.

I think goals are great for motivation, but remember that motivation comes and goes. It's never a constant. Your determination, persistence and schedule should the the constant in the equation. Rely on those!

good luck!

Thing is, if you gain another 10 pounds of muscle you can cary more body fat and still be lean. So it's not like you have to become a hardbody. You can gain more of each and still stay at 18%bf.

The beauty of bodybuilding, is not just losing the weight. It's about molding your body the way you want to.

You're very young still and your body may look okay as skinny fat but as you get older things start to shift and is not a pretty sight. If you can add muscle to your body now, you will look much better as you age. Besides, who wouldn't want to look like a powerful chick?

Good job on reaching your goal! Like everybody else said, your next goal should be to add some muscle. That should keep you focused for a long time is it's a long process. Good luck and have fun in the process!

I am considering MORE muscle. Some of you may think that I am still REALLY skinny at this weight but I promise you I have a very small frame with no hips or boobs... again I'm not ruling out the idea of more muscle.
I'm not sure how long you've been lifting weights and how much muscle mass but at your weight and height, adding more will make you look even better.

I know about not looking too skinny with your current stats since I have a similar build. I have a very small frame so I can pull off weighing less than most 5'8 women. However, if I add more mass, I will look better. In my teen years and early 20s, I used to be around 118-120 (and ate like a pig!) and I did look too skinny. And even at that weight, I was still skinny fat since I didn't have any muscle on me. I think I look much better now that then.

Congrats on your gains so far. I'm going to be honest. At your height even with a small frame, healthy weight is between 120-133 lbs. Considering more muscle should be your continued focus because at that height you're still too thin.

Jmo...

Put the 10 lbs of muscle on. You (and he) might be pleasantly surprised how "keen" he becomes as you earn that muscle. If there's still a problem, find a replacement.

The other women who've already replied are correct in that you're quite thin and would do nicely with another 10 lbs of muscle and can maintain the same "look" of leanness at a higher BF%.

Go for it!

Any other ideas besides gaining the 10 lbs of muscle? It is, again, something I'm considering just not at this very moment.
