My Bulk
So here are my stats since the contest. I have been doing a bulk I am 190 lbs and 10% BF
I am retaing a fair amount of water (lots of creatine). My strength is back up.
Anyone else having good results with their bulk or cut post contest?
I have seen some Pictures like kevinwu and you look amazing.
My avatar is from the contest. I dont want to post anything on bodyspace until after the winners announced. Then I will post current pic's.

I have put on about 7lbs of pretty lean mass. I am currently 178lb @ 8% bf. Gains have been pretty slow but I have been trying really hard to stay as lean as possible for the summer

I dropped in to see the results--Nothing yet? Good job with the continued work on the physiques, guys. I'm keeping my routine going--165@9% I can maintain the body fat right there and work at adding some muscle mass over the next month. Then it's lean time again for a show mid Sept.

Hey Chris.
My guess is they are timing the announcements of both contests to coincide with the release of the New Hydroxycut product. So many folks raved about Hydroxycut in their essays, I think they want something to be available for folks to try, when they see the results folks are posting up.

Progress Pic updates.
I have made some good improvements since the final pics of the transformation. Did my first show and had a wonderful experience with that and can't wait to do it again.
Now I am working on putting on some pounds and improving on my weaknesses to hopefully bring a better physique next year.
You can see my progress under my progress pictures on my Bodyspace and under my photos.

Yeah I was happy with my standings. I did Novice and had 8 in my class. No weight class either. Got some experience under my belt!
Check out my comparison pics here. I have been told I should have gotten second, but it is what it is.

I know I need to work on my upper body. Abdominals, Chest, Arms and lower back area.

Beer
I didn't compete because I love Beer toooooo much! I am currently working on how to stay ripped and have abs while drinking every weekend! I'm doing a damn good job! LOL
I was thinking about doing the Rocky Mountain NPC show, but that would mean i couldnt drink the rest of the summer......SUCKS.....all for a little trophy ( If I placed )! I personally don't think its worth it unless you really want to compete! As for me, I'm a 40 yr old with abs like a 20 yr old..............I guess that is my real trophy. I have a lot of respect for guys that compete....it's harder than anything!
Congrats on your placing Iron! Great Job!

next cut
Hey guys. Just got back in town and I can't believe how terrible I look! I'm ashamed that over the last 10 days I gained around 8lbs of fat. It was a planned to some extent, but I didn't think my abs would/could wash out that fast. I ate way too many cookies/brownies/cake/fast food, but my metabolism should be bumped like crazy for my next cut which I started today. Hitting the cardio hard again and the diet will be perfect on my quest to 6% or less. I figure I will have to drop around 20lbs to get there, an plan on doing over the next 6-8 weeks. I'm sure I will drop around 5lbs this first week since I put it on so quickly, then taper off after that. My wife and father are joining me so I've got 3x the food to prepare. Wish me luck!

Hey Madden you could do actually pretty well in the masters division. You could do the Axis Labs which is in Oct the 24th is a natural show and comp is ok but you could do very well and we both could be up there and show them but I wont be drinking any beer keep that in mind. LOL but the rocky mountain open a lot of those guys are trying to get their pro cards and are just enormous

Its really encouraging to have the positive feedback. I appreciate that. My wife and I went to the beach this past weekend for our 10 year Anniversary and I had my first drink in about two years. I enjoyed it too!

whats up graf dont worry brother its almost impossible to put on 8 pounds of fat im sure its just a hearty bloatt of water weight ...........your body was used to being sooo much heavier so naturally it will get back to it if u let it so even ten days will bring tons of water weight back i bet u 8 is water 2 is fat ........3 days of cardio and low carbs and you will be all dried up again no way it could bee all fat watch how strong you will be for these couple days wowww lolol it happned to me after my transformation i took 2 weeks off and gain like 15 pounds back hahaha almost all water though

there is much debat on this, i personally, did an experiment. I consumed the same amount of calories for 3 weeks getting all my carbs from fruit. then for the next 3 weeks i got all my carbs from oats / rice / bread etc...
the 3 weeks of fruit, i gained some fat, not much but some. the 3 weeks of non fructose carbs, i got leaner, very fast
it may depend on the person, but for me, fruit = fat
I know i took it to the extreme, but it was an experiment
