Any women around 20% body-fat?
Hi, I am requesting pictures (tasteful) of 19-21% body-fat (verified) women. I have a friend who is trying to drop weight and she wants to know what she will look like at around 20%, just as a rough guideline as to what she can expect as far as how she will look. I know everyone's body type is different, but at least she can get an idea of lean-ness and whatnot. Thankyou a bunch!

Really, I would think that youd have to find someone with similar build, muscle mass, etc to get a fairly accurate possibility of what she may look like at a certain body fat.

Latest progress pics in my BodySpace are when hubby measured me at 21% via 7 point skinfold method. I am 19.8% now, haven't gotten around to posting new pics yet.
It would be best if you found pics of other women who are the same height as your friend. Also keep in mind amount of muscle makes a big difference as to how lean one looks. When I weighed 132 lbs around 21-22% bodyfat I had no muscle definition but now I weigh 142 lbs and have a lot of muscle definition at the same total bodyfat level.
My leanest pics are in my photo gallery, I achieved 18% in those pics, likewise, I was calipered at 17.6% in my avatar pic.

Nice legs. Looks like you're one of the few who has gotten an accurate measurement on bodyfat. Now why can't MY legs look like YOURS since I was also just recently calipered at 20%. Good example of the difference in the way each person's bodyfat is distributed, another factor that will make two people with the same stats look completely different. Skeletal frame size and shape plays a big role too. The gal I compared myself to a long time ago, we were same height, same weight, same bodyfat but her shoulders and hips were much wider than mine, you could see that plainly in the pics.

Go to BodySpace. Then, Member Listing. Now, Advanced Search.
You can search for people of a certain gender, age, height and weight, and only those with photos. You should be able to find the images - and stories! - you need.

Im glad to know 20% sounds about right because before getting tested via calipers, I was using my omeron which also said 20%, but then at my gym they tested me and told me I was 35% via this bio impedance scale (I know they arent very accurate though but still, it made me feel like crap!)
I agree though, bone structure and muscle mass will total change the way a bf% looks on someone.

Your legs look amazing!
It's interesting that Omron showed the same thing as the calipers, I am using Omron too just to have a relative value to measure my progress.
