Help! Cheated on my contest diet!
Well, I did it! I cheated on my competition prep diet!!!!! I have been feeling pretty challenged for the last two weeks because I am constantly hungry! CONSTANTLY! I go to bed and wake up and spent time during the day with my stomach growling!!!!! So, I went out to dinner with friends last night and just ate like a pig! My coach keeps telling me I need wait for my stomach to shrink, but 2 weeks, come on! Additionally, 10 weeks out from competition he tells me I need to cardio EVERY DAY!!!!!!! Is this normal?
So, my greatest challenge is that after almost 3 weeks of non-stop cardio 6 times a week, my knee has started to rebel against me!CRAP! So, after realizing that I was about ready to elliptical my way into a knee injury I switched to swimming. I did it two days and my knee is still sore (plus I have a hard time getting my heart rate up because I?m an awful swimmer).
Finally, I just learned that my husband is getting sent to Kuwait on my birthday (Friday), so I feel very unhappy about my whole comp prep right now.
Aaaaaahhhhh!!!!! What do I do????

Keep your head straight and keep dieting and doing your cardio everyday. One day is not gonna break you, just make sure YOU NOT CHEAT AGAIN ON YOUR DIET.
Ultimately you gonna reach your goal,if you are desciplined and in the end you can tell even if you do not win, that you made everythink possible to win and that no one out-worked you.
Go back on the diet and training and cardio, good luck with your prep.

You should not be starving on a contest prep diet 24/7. (Especially at 10 weeks out) If you are then something is off in your eating plan...it usually falls back on healthy fats being too low.

I agree with Kimm4...you should not be starving like that, especially with 10wks left. You should talk to your trainer about your macros, it does seem like something must be lacking.

Agreed with the ladies above. I am a week out from my comp and am not starving. A little hungry... yes... but in no way am I starving or wanting to cheat. Maybe you should re-evaluate your diet and cardio program with your trainer.

Have no idea how you look in person, but cardio 6 days a week is reality of contest prep, especially if your not already lean.
Don't stress about the cheat---brush yourself off and move on. Your 10 weeks out---lots of time. I would ask your trainer about your carb/fat intake...maybe it is too low for 10 weeks out.
