Calories out > calories in = weight loss success. In all seriousness.

I'd go with a lower carb diet. Consume most of your carbs in the morning and around your workouts. When do you workout? AM or PM?

I'm not trying to lose weight but I'm trying to stay as lean as possible. A brief outline of my diet looks something like this:

Meal 1: Egg whites, Oatmeal, Veggies
Meal 2: Fruit, Natural PB
Meal 3: Chicken/Tuna/Turkey sandwich, Veggies
Meal 4: Chicken/Tuna/Turkey, Salad w/ low fat dressing, 1/2 sweet potato
Meal 5: Chicken/Turkey/Lean Beef, Veggies, 1/2 sweet potato
Meal 6: 1/2 cup cottage cheese, Mixed nuts

Try to leave carbs out of your last meal of the day. Get up early and do cardio on an empty stomach. That's what seemed to work for me.

This. Don't worry about doing a "diet" like some new fad diet that people are talking about. The best way for YOU to lose weight is to figure out something that you can stick to. You don't have to worry about anything besides eating clean and burning more calories than you take in. You WILL lose weight.

I did try Keto, low carb, carb cycling, balanced one and I would say they are all about the same in the long run.

Look in my profile and you will see I'm "experienced" in weight loss.

As a beginner (you are I think?), I would stick to a classic 40% protein, 40% carbs and 20% fat coming from clean food. At the beginning, there is not need to have special diet or anything like that.

Motivation x (Clean diet + hard weight training + cardio) = Succes

I would also read the sticky

keto works best for me. I find that it's the best at actually loosing bodyfat itself.
