Tips would be understanding your going through a process such as when you have a baby. (serious) Waking up in the middle of the night, it needs constant attention. These dogs are very social animals and need to be loved.

best dog ever, she looks alot like nofx's husky. She 1 brown and 1 blue eye to. They're extremely playful dogs, hate to be alone and howls when shes left alone.

from what ive heard huskies love their crates, you just make it into a little cave and throw in some towels or blankets that smell like you, and a kong with some pb and they will be happy. at least thats what im hopeing

very possible....we got her for $60 from the local animal shelter, already fixed. Whoever brought her and her brothers in told the shelter they were pure bred.....we're not that hung up on the pure-bred sh*t, so it's no big deal. Whatever her blood line may be, we kinda like her....

thats an awesome price. Plus you saved a ton of money on her being fixed, plus a bet she already had most of her shots. You kinda like her?
Nero was fine last night until 5:30 and then he started crying really loud. I was just lying in bed laughing my ass off. It was so loud and he sounded like a chicken. Does anyone know how long they cry for? Is it just the first couple nights because they miss there family?

Grew up with huskies. Have had 3 in my lifetime. Best dogs ever. I really hope you have a large backyard because they like to run around. If you have a standard height fence they will jump it without any effort at all. I say you need at least a 6 foot fence for sure. They are very smart and great dogs in general. When they get older most of them have hip problems. I miss my huskies.

I had a male husky for 12 years. At the time I was living in a duplex with a housemate. My housemate and his father built a screen door for the front so we could open the door and get a breeze. I told him my dog would run out the door. He said, no we have a latch to hold it closed. I told him my dog is going to run right through that as soon as I let him go. He said no way. I let go of my dog's collar and he proceeded to smash through the screen and sprinted down the road. About 20 minutes later I managed to catch him. I wish I had the escape on video.

dunno if anyone posted it ( i didnt read everyones posts) but these ****ers are known for being able to jump... ie its not unheard of for them to be able to get over a 6-8 foot fence...keep an eye on em cause once they are out they tend to stay out (not always but they have that rep for a reason)
