I'd just like to clarify two things here. One, overtraining IMO is over attributed. Its not as easy to overtrain as many would have you believe. I like this saying whether its accurate or not..."There's no such thing as overtraining, just undereating and under-resting."
Second, I like to train twice per day not because I think its the only or even the most optimal way to make gains, but moreso because I love working out. I've adjusted my intensity and volume so that I can make gains while still training this often.

Pretty much this.

On my volume days, I do more reps and sets with less rest (30-60 seconds for most sets). Pretty much going for the pump.
On heavy days, I keep most reps between 3-6 on compound exercises (slightly higher on isolation exercises), performed less total sets and resting 2-3 min between sets.

Timber it's great that you're doing what you love for a living. How long did it take to transition from a commercial gym to going out on your own and building up a handful of clients to train? I would love to do something along those lines very soon.

I haven't worked for a commercial since '91. When I got back into personal training in 2000 or 2001 it was through another private trainer. Began training his clients first and then built up my own. Its been up and down since I like to train the minimum clients I can get away with. LOL!

Well I guess everything on me is weak lol but just wanted to make sure arms get prioritized. I would like to try and have an inch or more on them ofr every ten pounds of body weight. And what do you mean when you say the more carbs you eat the less protein you can get away with? Do I just have a above average metabolism if I am struggling to gain with 250-260 carbs 240 grams protein and 75 grams fat only at 120 pounds lol?

Carbs are protein sparing. So its when carbs are limited that consuming enough protein becomes essential. As for your metabolism... how dilligently/ consistently are you tracking your calories?

I thought maybe underestimating cals may have been the case also but for a few weeks I measured everything with a scale and any measuring device needed and same thing. Logged it all in fit day as well. Do some people just need more carbs I guess (I will say that over the course of a day where I eat more carbs or food/water in general that I "soften" up but im always back to same level of lean-ness by the next morning...this ever happen to you?) Lol having a 24.5 inch waist is fine and everything but not when you have no muscle . And from your comments are you saying I am overworking arms? Is my schedule messed up? I thought that you believed undertraining is not what people makke it up to be. Thanks for the replies.

Overtraining is what I think people worry about too much. With your program, the only thing I was pointing out was doing biceps before back may compromise your strength on back exercises. You may actually be one of those few that has a medical thyroid condition or a really fast metabolism, so in this case... up your calories.

Do you stay pretty lean throughout the day or do you notice you become "softer" as the day goes by and you eat more food/water/etc then you are back to normal the next morning? Just wondering if this happens to other people.
Oh and the 2 bicep exercises and 2 tricep exercises are lighter with more reps on the first day and doesn't seem to affect my back workout. I still try to improve my lifts/make PR's with them but I try to just get some blood flowing to the arms on those days for recovery. The arm day is when I go heavier/focus on them.

Before it'd fluctuate throughout the day but for the most part... yeah, looking abit softer as the day goes by. Though not really that much of a difference. The last few weeks though, I actually look harder and more vascular as the day goes by. Maybe because I've been so carb depleted....
