What is it you are looking for, financial advice or just general chat about financial matters?
If you want financial advice, always, always, always go and see a professional.
If you want "how to save money tips", sure, go to the web.

I read an article in Business Weekly about Expensor.com
Supposed to be a good site, but they're stuck in an odd place in that it's a tough market to monetize. I'm going to have to check it out now for myself. Lets hope it exists still.
Look at that, I guess they never found a way to monetize it. Doesn't look like it exists. The concept was good though. Sort of like a Myspace type site, but with finances in mind. A way to really keep up with the Jonses.

A myspace for finances, thats a terrible idea. The problem with websites is there is far too many "experts" giving armchair financial advice. If you are any good at something, you dont do it for free, and financial planners, accountants and stockbrokers are the best at applying this principle.
I had a case the otherday where a real estate agent gave a client advice on how best to structure his affairs in order to take on a rental property. I dont think the guy could have given any more bad advice even if he tried. The problem with the web is you dont know who is giving the advice, or what their education and qualifications are.

if your just looking for something small , maybe saving a little bit etc. you can find it yourself. if your wanting to get into investing and stocks and things of that nature, i would go to someone professionally

I have to disagree. I've spoken with the "professionals" and they seem to be from a school of regurgitated BS. They are out to make commissions on your money. The internet has made it possible for anyone to open a trade account and perform real-time trades.
I would do a search in your area for a traders group. An example would be http://www.worldwidetraders.com/ in Orange County. Real people playing with their own money have a lot at stake and take it much more serious than a guy that got a job at a bank. Recent history should show us that these bankers don't always make sound decisions.
