Spuds is a bull terrier. My brother and my son have staffy bull terriers. I have jack russells and patterdales. They go in groundhog holes after groundhogs. We dig em up once they get the hog cornered.

I am having a helluva time with the diet. Eating properly is easy, the severe leg cramps are making the whole thing almost not worth it. I haven't slept hardly at all in two days. They are VERY bad. As soon as I lay down they hit me HARD. I did some research and the low carb websites recommend morton salt substitute. I have tried tonic water in the past but it is too nasty to choke down. I have used potassium supplements but they were not very effective. I GOTTA get this solved or I am gonna be out of the ballgame.

Doing a keto style diet.
one common side effect is cramps due to flushing too much potassium. I read up on it and bought some morton salt substitute. It seems to have done the trick. Slept like a log last night. Down 19 pounds so far and wearing a couple size smaller pants already so other than the cramps I couldn't be happier.

I've heard about diets like that and that intakeing more potassium and salt helps.

Doing well. Have solicited for and received some advice from some well respected board members and will see where that takes me. I seem to be having an injury/ pain free stretch so need to make the most of it.
