i seriously need a lot of advice right now...(reps given)
a little more than a week ago, i got extremely drunk and i completely passed out to the point that i couldnt even stand on my own. two of my buddies had to literally drag me by my arms a significant distance. in the morning, my upper arms, upper chest, upper back, shoulders, and traps all hurt like hell (they felt extremely sore, to the point that it was painful just to get dressed).
today, i was feeling pretty ok, i still felt a faint sensation of pain in my right shoulder, but not so much that it held me back from anything routine, so i headed back to the gym. i did one set of flat bench to warm up, and then i started a set of flat with slightly lower weights than normal (i was still cautious). on the 2nd rep of that set, i felt my entire right side collapse, and i felt a tear under the length of my collarbone, especially around the inner chest area. it hurts like hell now, and i cannot exercise anything that would use my chest, back, shoulders, or arms.
first of all, does anybody have any idea what may have happened to me? i think i may have dislocated my arm the night my boys dragged me home. did i tear a ligament today?
i was planning to go on a cut for the entire summer, would that prolong the healing process? and in general, how long should i wait until working out again? is there any way i can speed up the healing?
what can i do, besides cardio in the meantime?
what would you do if you were in my situation?
please guys, im desperate and i really need everyones help. and yes i know i deserved this

Yes. First, tell you what's wrong with you, and second, set you up with a rehab program. Make an emergency appointment as soon as possible, with a sports medicine specialist if possible.

Of course a doctor would help, they could tell you medically what really happened to you. I dont think anyone on this forum could diagnose you from your story. Go see a doctor and then come back and tell us what they said.

lol
alcohol and lifting do not mix, unless you know how to handle it
eat a LOT and drink a LOT of water on the same night.. come home and b4 u sleep have a whey shake. I used to break some PR's the next day after a big night out doing this method
definately go see someone and listen to how long they say with regards to a lay off.
if u wanna cut then u might aswell start now then, no point trying to bulk with a ligament injury especially in that spot.

What exactly are you expecting? A diagnosis?
"You suffered a lateral tear of the pectoralis major near the distal origin of the clavicular head, take two asprin and call me in the morning"
There

You suffered a lateral tear of the pectoralis major near the distal origin of the clavicular head. Youd think someone would have pointed this out by now, but no, this thread instead is all shenanigans and pranks. Go see a doctor.

Having a seizure will make you pretty sore the next day. Your muscles contract extremely hard...much harder than you could contiously.

See a doctor...that's the bottom line. None of us here are able to diagnose you through a forum thread. Just explain what happened to your doctor and let them help you...you do have medical insurance, right???
And exercise more control next time you go drinking....

and im in an area that doesnt have much support for my medical insurance, which is the problem. i moved down south for the summer for a summer internship, im actually from nyc

There is no "inner chest" to tear. You either tear the whole thing at once, or not at all.
wait..wut?
