I know they don't let him just run rampant or anything but is he kind of like Their version of Batista? I wouldn't mind seeing more of the guy actually. What do you guys think? (yes Bored)

he was already in wwe...he just didnt have enough x-factor to get over with the fans (yes i know how ironic it was saying that, as there was a whole stable of wrestlers who could never get over with the fans, called x-factor in wwe back in the day)
however, sean o'haire on the other hand...with some acting lessons and time with some veterans working on ring psychology and telling a story in the ring...he very well couldve been a long term batista, due to his age and athleticism

He's green and TNA doesn't seem to know what to do with him. For such a large athletic guy they don't really seem to build it up, either. He hasn't entertained me that much from what I've seen of him but unlike Batista, he doesn't make me want to change the channel. So, for me personally, I'd take him over Dave. I think if he went to WWE, had Hunter lie down for him 3 times in a row and was pushed as an unstoppable animal that he'd be more over than Batista is right now. He just doesn't have the WWE machine behind him.
I can't imagine why Morgan failed in WWE? Hmmm? It wouldn't have to do with the crappy stuttering gimmick they gave him? They set him up to look like a fool and the crowd treated him like one. Then, when the angle failed, they release him because the "creative team" doesn't have anything for him. Properly booked, he could be a monster. He is big, strong and fast. Not too many 7 footers move like him.

wow, i had no idea he was in the wee. look at the stupid look and gimmick they gave him smh one of the reasons I hate the wwe. they give him a fake stuttering problem, and make him look like mr. solis from the desperate housewives

Morgan doesn't know how to work a crowd. he's too boring.
Agreed, the only way the 2 are similar is because they both have kind of boring characters. Yeah Batista can work a crowd, but his promos suck and he doesn't really have that "flare" that the other big names have.
Morgan is probably a better athlete and is better in the ring than Batista, but he's nowhere near as charismatic IMO. His mic skills aren't very good, he talks too fast and emphasizes the wrong words when he cuts promos.

Well said and i agree 100%
He lacks that connection with the crowd,if he finds that "connection" he will become a star.

That is so crap. Why make that and put it on air?

matt morgan was a fatass when he was on tough enough and was in better shape in wwe but nothing like he is in tna...if he was in the shape and condition he is now back then, wwe wouldn't have let him go.

i always thought of all the up coming guys when wcw went under sean o'haire had the most potential and his 'i'm not telling you anything you don't already know' promos were great...still don't understand how he didn't become a bigger star.

At the time, he was still very green. On top of that, they stuck him with a f*cking stuttering gimmick. It's not that he couldn't get himself over--it's that they gave him a gimmick that would never get over. They made him boring as hell. In the last few years, though, his work has really improved, and I love watching him wrestle now.
