What is your cut must have food

What is the low calorie food that you rely on to get you through your cut? I am talking low cal snacks that you can eat without regretting? I have become a huge fan of Dill Pickels, at 5 calories each they are great!

Good stuff

I drink Coke zero & light all the time - but seriously don't overdo it, you don't want too much of that crap aspartame.

Other than that I've gotta say one of the foods that has been the most beneficial to my cut, but certainly not low-calorie, is some sugarfree 70% chocolate with hazelnuts from a spanish company that does all sorta organic-bio stuff. Basically it is a better option to regular chocolate, I've cleaned up my diet and lifestyle of ALL crap since last year except sweets [obviousely not same quantities] and coke (light or zero, unfortunately in large quantities). This chocolate, besides being delicious and keeping me sane within the rest of my crazy - strict diet, has really nice figures :

100 grams chocolate :

514 cals
8g. protein
22g. carbs of which <0.5g sugars (+polyalcohols)
45g. fats (yup raw chocolate gets really fat ) of which about 20g saturated
here's the nice part : 17g. fiber

This past week I've eaten some 300-400 cals worth of this stuff every other day and I can honestly say it's been helping me [ I believe in two ways : 1. the deliciousness, since I like veggies, but I eat so much of them lately that it gets less than enjoyable ; and 2. a great amount of fiber to be honest , does help keeping me full ]

To be on the spot with op question though : I've made red peppers a serious part of my fatloss diet. Lots of vitamin C, lots of fiber and god knows I need em both.
As for 'cheat' snacks .... I guess every now and then I'll chew up some haribo little jellies, some 350 cals per 100 grams ( only carbs ) , but I just can't end up overeating them since they get gross or my teeth hurt , so I'm safe lol , they're small and chewy

I reckon you should cut back on that or at least go to the doctors and have your mercury level checked. If you can handle it fine, if you can't then 4 cans of the tuna at the most per week.

alfalfa and clover sprouts...i load up my salads, sandwiches and wraps with them...low calorie (10 per cup), some protein, vitamins, etc and they fill me up. Don't care for them in omlettes though

Baby Cut Carrots. You can have 10-15 for 30 calories. That means 30-50 carrots for only 100 calories. It's amazingly filling.

I like to keep a variety of fresh veggie salads on hand for snacking on. I make up a big bowl and keep it in the fridge, I can snack on it all day and at the end of the day I know what I've eaten. A very simple one that is very low cal, tastes good, and keeps well in the fridge is:

2 large cucumbers, washed and diced
3 medium tomatoes, washed, seeds removed, diced
4 cloves peeled fresh garlic, minced
2tbsp Olive Oil
salt
1/2 lemon's juice
big splash of balsamic vinegar
a little powdered chicken boullion

Dice up the veggies, just like the secret to salsa you have to remove the slimy seeds from the tomatoes. Toss all the ingredients together in a big bowl. Eat.
This has a really fresh taste and goes well with just about anything or on it's own. Hope you like it, it helps my diet a lot to have a big bowl of something I can snack on all day that is filling and super low cal.

I go for pure cocoa powder. I never use chocolate. It's like 12kcal per teaspoon and I use some splenda and mix it with water. It tastes like real chocolate, only without the calories. Excellent stuff and pretty healthy, too.

Another cheat-meal: my protein ice-cream: I blend a banana with some non-fat cottage cheese and protein powder and freeze it. It's simply amazing.

Unfortunately, I also chew chewing gums (Trident and stuff). Should cut on those, though.

As for drinks: Diet Cream Soda ... no aspartame, only natural flavorings and 0.9 kcal per 100ml!

3 waffles with half can of beans is one...

2 low calorie wholemeal bread with chopped tomato and low cal cottage cheese is another...

this small packet of noodles, only 115 cal, 13 carbs and 4 fat which when eaten slow can fill you up.

oh and for drinks, either squash, water or protein shakes.

thats just a few things.

Diet sodas, teas, etc. Aspartame, Splenda, etcetera is your friend. Don't listen to people's nonsense about how it's bad for you, they know nothing about it. Love and cherish them as a wonderful gift in which they are.
