Agreed. I competed in my first kendo match in April (japanese fencing). I have also been considering doing a strongman however i hurt my back falling down the stairs at home and now i am not able to most of the competitions that are involved in strongman...

Hey Meremere, I'm competing on August 29th too (here in Gainesville, FL).
My first competition, however, is Ancient City in St. Augustine on July 18th/a little under 6 weeks from now.

Just a fast run down my my summer/fall and 2010 spring contest outlook....
I have a few of my girls doing shows on August 1st this summer in Evansville, IN at the WNBF/INBF Pro/Am contest. One as a pro and one as an amature.
I then have 2 women doing a show on October 10th in Madison WI for the INBF Midwest Natural Bodybuilding and Figure Championships (pro qualifier).
I then have 3 women doing the INBF Central USA Bodybuilding and Figure Championships in Sheboygan, WI (not a pro qualifier).
Hope to see a few of you ladies there as well!

I'm doing my first show this fall... there are 3 coming up in my area (Oregon) so not sure which one i'm doing... there is one in september in Spokane WA, 2 in Oct in Oregon, and 1 in Idaho in November.... Still deciding which one(s) I want to do.
