diet soda with protein?
why hasnt this been done yet?
vitamin water has some vitamins...but is there a way to get a nearly calorie free diet soda with protein?

Who knows, protein might react with the carbonic acid and other various acids in soda to break down.

no a calorie free diet soda would be impossible as there is 4 cals in 1g protein...

I don't get it. Are you saying that you want to get protein without calories  ? Or just that you want a sugar free soda with protein?

Just seeing this post has made me wonder something... Right, so studies apparantly show that drinking diet sodas can cause spikes in insulin levels, due to the artificial sweeteners they contain (as the body itself is unable to tell the difference between actual sugar and 'fake' sugars.) If this is the case, is it possible that bodybuilders who believe in spiking insulin levels after a workout along with a protein source (supposedly promoting more muscle growth) could potentially achieve this through drinking a diet soda, rather than a regular soda drink?? Would this not also be more beneficial to such bodybuilders who are on a cutting diet, trying to avoid consumption of excess calories, such as those that would come from drinking a regular soda drink?
