Diet- no sugar, no salt, white rice/white breat etc.
Busting Ass on the Treadmill
water- hydration is key
Measuring weight loss by the mirror or by noticing your waist line is shrinking, the weight scale can mislead you.

One of my main motivators is having a goal to train for!
I got tired of training for fat loss, so I decided to get serious about gaining strength. This journey led me to compete in the Southern Powerlifting Federation and I set the national record for my division in the push/pull competition.
That journey also let me to develop and build the best body I have ever had. I managed to lose fat without even trying, and I had fun the whole time!
Find a reason to consistently go to the gym. : )

I don't want to go back to trying to dress so I didn't look so fat but most of all it is the confidence that feeling good and looking good gives me..

My motivation is just how amazing being active & pushing my limits feels! Every day I wake up excited about what I get to do today. I look forward to seeing how far/fast I'll be able to run this time & how much weight I'll be able to lift compared to last week.
I just LOVE self-improvement & the pride that comes along with taking care of my responsiblities, in this case my health.
Plans are great though, couldn't be anywhere near as succesful without a plan as I am with one!

The question is your key to fitness not your motivation.

Seeing results and feeling good about myself. I'm training for a competition in November so that is also helping me stay motivated!

Then it appears that motivation is the key to fitness for many people

keeps me going
A few things that keep me going:
1. things giggle that are not suppose to giggle when I brush me teeth. That bothers me!!!!
2. a very supportive husband and friends that keep me accountable
3. I don?t want to end up like my family-overweight. I refused to believe that I can not change my future and set a great example for my future children.

Eating only when I'm really hungry, stopping when I'm 80% full. I don't buy into that 6 meals/eat every 3 hours plan and have lost 50 pounds over the years and kept it all off.

a lot of my friends are overweight, and I've lost 40lbs and so now they've started working out... they get their inspiration or motivation (something) from me so now I feel like if I stop working or don't train one day and get flabby again I'd be letting them down
you never realize how much you influence the people around you until you start seeing them physically change

knowing that when i work out or perform any sort of exercise, I will always feel good afterwards. seeing results is a HUGE motivator I love seeing muscle definition from trying new exercises.
i also love to eat healthy foods like whole grain organic bread or rye crackers, lean proteins like cottage cheese, fish, chicken and eggs, and delicious fruit and vegetables of all kinds! i also allow myself to have icecream or cake once in awhile too. balance is key! oh and i drink tons of water and love strong green or black teas...i rarely ever drink juice, pop, or alcohol.
i used to beat myself up over eating different foods or not exercising. i find now that i have more leniency, i feel so much better about myself and have better results
