you outweigh him by 75 pounds you d-bag.
215 rolling with a 140 how the hell is that even relative? that's like fighting a woman man.
No hate to the small guys but anyone can see why you "overwhelm" him with your "power" ask your friend if he knows any bigger guys at his BJJ school and then roll with one of them that's 185 or more and closer to your weight then report back to us.

Can I ask you what the heck that had to do with the conversation? Also, your one case is not the rule when it comes to power vs technique....
And remind me, how often do competitive fights take place with a 75 lb weight difference? Never? OK...thanks.
Oh, yeah, you humored me....I certainly got a laugh out of your response, thanks.

I'm trying to legitimately figure out why you don't think you're going to get mopped by any and everyone in that place, and you're failing at sarcasm.

Wow seriously?
You're the one who started the **** throwing with your outlandish claims of being able to hang with pros. ESH only wanted to know why you thought you'd be ahead of the game compared to other wrestlers. Rather than simply answer you started being a bitch basically and made comments like I quoted above.
Seriously why are you going to be ahead of the game?

Velasquez has six MMA fights and you're ragging on him for not being able to finish Kongo.... c'mon we're being a little unrealistic here. The guy is really green and what he did was impressive for his lack of experience.

OK............
I don't blame Kongo. I think it's Wolfslair his training team. Rampage STILL hasn't learned to check a leg kick and Bisbing hasn't improved since his days of TUF. They keep doing the same thing every fight WTF is their camp teaching them?

Cheick is a lost cause. It was clear what his flaw was and it doesn't seem like he's made any improvement. Kongo never was a contender. I don't know why people were saying he was. Dana is going to keep him around though because he is going to make for an exciting fight with another striker. If Kongo is happy being a sideshow for the rest of his career, then that's what he'll be used for.

After the Al-Turk fight, people were saying how his TD defense had improved, even I thought it had. But damn if he didn't get schooled.
A big part of the problem is that Kongo had developed a decent takedown himself, but he tries it at all the wrong times, because he has no clue how to scramble or hold position once he gets there, and he's basically just waiting to get reversed.
Oh, and once he started getting worked, he was definitely trying to knee Cain in the balls against the fence. AGAIN.

I don't know how ANYONE missed it.
As soon as he's taken out of his game, Kongo looks lost and starts to go all Mike Kyle. They should match him up with Kyle in fact...or Yvel (again). Those motherf*ckers will show him what real cheap shots look like.

Yes Kongo pretty much sucks on the ground and yes it would have been cool if Cain finished Kongo from the ground from either strikes or an RNC but I think his finishing ability will get better in time. He's only 6 pro fights in and is getting better every time. I just wished he had more power in his hands.

I just haven't seen anyone else mention it....then again, I haven't been hitting all the threads about it either. As soon as I saw Kongo start trying to throw knees, I was like "WATCH YOUR BALLS!!!"

Cain dominated when wrestling came into play and ate some HARD shots to get into grappling range. He was tossing around Cheick like a ragdoll.

Jesus dude no wonder. 75 lbs and look at how strong you are. Not to mention he is only a purple. While very good a purple is not elite and a brown or black 140lbr would tap you.

If Kongo tried to nut shot Yvel, Gilbert would probably tear his eyeballs out! Dude seems like a nice guy outside the ring but he's nuts when he fights.
