Update on first show!

Well... it didn't go well, it went as expected seeing my diet was off and I went in bad soft. It was a wonderful experience and I'm now getting ready for the Mr. ALabama 10 weeks out. I kinda have a feel for how my body reacts now and will go in to my next show rock hard.

I didn't place and the guys who did really deserved it they all looked great!
I'll try to get some pix posted, I have none at the show b/c the camera is a piece of crap. But, I took some of me posing before the night show at the house.

Learning is what it is all about, I am sure with this experience you will be in a much better position to really kick some ass at the Mr. A! I give big Body Hard props to anyone who gets up on stage.

Hey man you did it and you want to go back, I know the feeling, just did my first contest and did not place but I learned alot, met some great people, and can't wait to try it again, I looked on it as a very postive learning experence. Like another guy told me back stage waiting in the line up" you're really competing against youself ! " I think that really put a whole new lite on it ! Good luck !

What makes you think it did'nt go well? You trained, you entered the contest and you got on stage. It takes a lot to do that. On the other hand.... if you had trained and entered the contest and showed up but then backed out before going on stage, then you could say it did not go well.

I remember my first show.......lol......I was scared as hell. I remember....I was so nervous I was shaking all over as I walked on stage. But you know what?........I got up there. Like you, I did not place in my first show but like everyone else said..........I learned alot.

LOL......being nervous and stuff was out the window on my second show. I was a junkie from that point on. I placed third out of 5 in my second show. From that point on I placed in every show I did......although, I only placed 1st one time.......the last show I ever did. Then during off season while training for the Mr. Alabama.......I screwed my shoulder up (surgery). 3 years later got back into it........lol.......tore a hamstring before I ever made it back up there. That was it......after that I got caught up in making money, marriage etc.......

but I will never forget those days...........and niether will you if you stay with it very long....
