just hit month 4 of bulking, gained 14lbs!!! :) (Pics inside)
4 months down the line, 14lbs gained, i am now alot more confident in myself and feel healthier than i ever have, can't wait to hit the goal i set when i started of 170, 8%.
I have only just started deadlifting and squating the last week, because to be honest, i was scared of doing these excersizes at my local gym. So in the next few months i rekon i should pile on a lot more mass, if i gained this without squats or deadlifts there should be some nice noob gains to squeeze out.
Wanna thank BB.com for pointing me in the right direction, i got the bbing bug now =]

GJ my friend, I started squats and deadlifts last week for first time too haha coincidence. You should keep a workout log bro, helps motivating and helps you compete against yourself more(and others perhaps). Ait see ya around

ah good, you also have a knee problem with deadlifts? thats what I am having its bruising my knees. Next day after squats my neck was hurting like hell too.
My DL was I think 70x5 think I can do more tomorrow but was trying to nail the form. You keeping a workout log yet?

I personally dont get on with squats that well.... hurt my neck, and my right knee hurts too...
I seem to be ok with deadlifts though??? Maybe it's just where squats require you to bend your knees more.
i think the majority of pain comes from muscles being worked for the first time. But i may have to do front squats as i seem to have trouble with the behind the head ones.
