if your going to call me an idiot explain why it was a valid comment. creatine isnt even supposed to help you with lifting it puts more water into your muscles so you can retain nutriants more easily. when you stop taking it you lose much of the gains you made. all of the stuff you see with it being something to magically make you lift more is just good sales tactics, its mind over matter. also my point about 3x3 was just an idea for lower rep workouts which is good because if you know anything about working out youd know that you dont want muscle memory, changing reps helps to more effectively break muscles down.

and you're info on creatine is not completely accurate, nor is it fact.
basically, all you're saying is how YOU feel about it, i take it, and i like it. My performance
is great on it, and i don't gain much water weight at all.
and yes i know about working out, thanks lol
i probably will never in my life do a 3X3. It's personally not enough volume for me to grow.
check out WS4SB. its a lifting program. i might start it up in a week or two

CS7 I wasnt reffering to you in my post and Andyg37 you have yet to make one intellectual statement instead all I have read is completely unbacked comments by a teenager who thinks he knows everything. The things I said about creatine are fact whether it makes you feel good or not, my father is a doctor and personal trainer, scientifically I said exactly what creatine DOES DO. And Ill repeat I was not saying 3x3 was what you should do exactly I was saying a workout similar to that could help you to obtain gains, a simple interjection attempting only to help with your workouts. But sorry I almost forgot in highschool you both probaly know alot more then a man with a phd, from your very credible source, the internet.

make a thread in the misc about how your dad feels about creatine,
include that he has a phd, he's a doctor and a personal trainer,
and you will get flamed so hard.
Creatine has helped plenty of people who've tried it, just because
your father says it's not beneficial, doesn't change the fact that it actually has the potential to be.
so please, just because your dad may know alot, don't tell me that creatine
is not worth it... not like i paid a thousand dollars for it.
it's actually the cheapest supplement i've ever bought,
you cannot find a protein anywhere that is cheaper.
edit: just because you said a few scientific facts about it (anybody on this site can)
doesn't mean you can tell me how it has actually helped me. everyone has different results.
i know the science behind creatine, i've done research before i even joined the site.
also, strong first couple posts here bud.

I never said that creatine didnt help I just said creatine isnt magic and that it doesnt increase your lifting. The basis of what I was saying about creatine is that its not healthy to use, which you cant argue. Iv tried creatine aswell so dont act like Im just throwing this stuff out there to be the dickhead, Im just giving an opposing viewpoint and if you cant handle that without getting your panties in a bunch you shouldnt create a thread asking for advice. Also the things reffering to my dad were written only so that you know I have a source beyond people like Andyg. Im not trying to start a confrontation over the internet like I have said now twice, IT WAS JUST AN OPINION ON YOUR WORKOUT ROUTINE AND SOME FACTS ABOUT CREATINE.
Oh just an edit, The amount of posts on this website is hardly a measure of knowledge so please dont try to impress me with you 1500+ posts because it is not relevant.

Standing Military Press :

Note: Felt good, went up 5 lbs for a new PR.
Seated Miltary Press :

Note: Same as above. Tried to increase my PRs and i was successful easily.
Barbell Shrugs :
105 X 15

Note: Need to strengthen grip, it hurts holding the bar and doing these.
Dumbbell Shrugs :
45s X 12
45s X 10
Note: yeh.
Lat Pulldown :
70 X 12
80 X 10 [PR]
Note: Lats were poundin. Nice.
Overall Workout : 8/10. Countin down the days till i join a real gym.
Another side note : Realized that everytime in my log i posted my squat as an ATG wasn't necessarily correct. All the squat recordings in here that say ATG are basically more of a parallel squat, just wanted to clear it up. :/ ?

do some various wrist curls and **** till you can barely hold the dumbell at the every few days at the end of your sets....ive been doing this for the past few weeks and i can already tell my grip is getting better because my double overhand is catching my reverse grip dead

yeah im gonna start working on my grip alot more
i have a gripper thingy that you just squeeze for forearms,
imma do that every other night or so and probably start doing wrist curls too
in another guys log i read that he'd just put some heavy ass weight
on a barbell and hold it like you're about to shrug but you don't shrug u just hold it in place
strengthens grip i'd assume.

i would do that if my gym didnt freak when you dropped weight and just go till failure and you have to squeeze it the whole time

Legs and Forearms
June 2nd, 2009:
Hit my legs today, and decided to do some forearm work also..
Squats :
155 X 10
175 X 10
185 X 6 [PR for below parallel]
Note: My ass always feels like it's about to tear when i do these lol,
i'm always sore for atleast a day.
Sissy Squats :
BW X 10 X 3
Note: Decided to just do body weight,
could have added like a 25 lb plate but whatever.
The rest of my time (about 20 minutes left) i did some forearm work.
Wrist Curls, dumbbell holds, etc... Trying to strengthen my grip.
Overall : 7/10. Leg days will be better in a real gym.

try squeezing the dumbells when you do your shrugs and dont let them move at all, did that yesterday and gave my forearms a nice burn

hey guys, sorry for not updating as of late
been so busy with school stuff since it's the last week
finals and **** sucks.....
but anyways, i am joining my new gym either thursday or friday!
Can't wait to lift hard this summer at an actual REAL gym. Gonna be great.
