(we'll also be gardening my lawn...which hasn't seen a mower in 13 months *no joke!*).
I didn't fail my nutrition final! In fact, I must've got higher than 64 because I finished with an A in the course!
I could go ALL DAY baby!
I agree with each and every one of your pics. AMEN!

1) congrats on the A!
2) have fun with the yardwork tomorrow
3) I know you could. This alone would fill 3 hours at Starbucks.
4) glad you agree
5) the fact that anyone thought Havana nights was a good idea when they came up with it means someone...somewhere hated the rest of humanity enough to inflict this on the masses.... A travesty.

Waiting for Crystal to get home so she can post her workout, and then I can post mine (she wrote it down for both of us because I didn't have my workout log on me).
I do, however, know that I did 1 hour of HIIT on the Stepper this morning...5 minute warm up...15 intervals @ Level 23 --> 30 minute LISS --> 15 more intervals --> 10 minute cooldown (LONG ASS CARDIO SESSION!!)
Will post workout write up and replies this afternoon
Holly crap that's nuts! HA! I'm soooo going to try the intervals on the stepper for fun this weekend!!
Today = Cardio only day. I'm working for 3 hours this afternoon, then have some clients in the evening. Should be a fun, nice, relaxing day, and the weather looks good, so I may even do my cardio outside on the bike (or a park circuit...who knows? )
I got a SHUPER SHEXY new phone last night. It's an LG...something something...? It's got a QWERTY keyboard, mp3 player, camera, UBER memory...and it's easy to use. I've have the same Nokia...something something...for a while now, and it was time for an upgrade. So 1.25 hours last night were spent copying down (by hand) my entire address book, and then inputting it into my new phone. Ugh. Super productive Tuesday night, eh? Lol!
I'll be back later this aft guys! Have a great day!
OH!!! And good luck to the girls (and guys!) in the OBF!!! You all made me proud!!!

It is, it is! Clearly! Lol!...except nutrition was the exam I DIDN'T study for (shh....)

1) You better believe it is a word...in my dictionary it is and that is just as valid as Merriam-Webster. And I wholeheartedly believe we could conversate in song titles plus occasional lines not perhaps included in the song title....

Great day!! Woke up, hit the gym, came back, showered, went to work, did ma thang, and then had a couple clients in the afternoon.
In sad news, I didn't get the job at the athlete's performance facility. HOWEVER, where one door closes, another opens. This new gives me time to focus on my own training and my PT biz (both online and in the gym), and also gives me a lot more free time to read (which I love more than anything in the world...*NERD ALERT!!!*). So ya, I'm not disappointed, because it ALSO means I don't have to scrap my plans for Florida (which I'm super relieved about). No worries I'm not disappointed. I won't burn my bridges, and he said he's definitely going to consider me when he does his hiring for the 2010 expansion. So...YAY!!!
Now I'm about to go get a movie (I'm thinking either "Doubt" or "Joseph and the Amazing Technicolour dreamcoat"...sammy, care to weigh in?)
As promised...a little cardio on the docket...
HIIT on Stepper
5 min warm up
15 x 30:60 intervals (Level 24:Level5)
30 minutes LISS
15 x 30:60
10 minute cooldown

1) Justification is a formality. If you think about it long enough...you could probably come up with a good excuse.
2) It is a possibility. In our house the question game morphs into...."It's been awhile since you called...but I'm sure you have really good reasons....(this is followed by a pause...)...So your sister was here this weekend...."
3) I'll work on it. It's gonna be hard though...we have so many already..

So...uh...my boobies hurt Ya, just a little. We decided to do a little experimenting (not THAT way) with the power rack and came up with some innovative things. The first was to put the safeties near the bottom of our ROM on incline barbell press, so that we could pause at the bottom and NOT use momentum to push that bar back up on the concentric. It worked UBER well. The second thing we did was put the bar UNDER the safeties, and then press it up as forcefully as we could - thus, 10 seconds of HARD HARD HARD Isometric contractions. Mission accomplished. We fried the chest.
Then we did tris. WAAAAAAAAAAAAAY to many dips than I care to remember (who the f*** does bench dips with 70lb? i mean really?!?!) and some more cardio...as if we weren't tired enough...ugh. This chick is crazy
Tomorrow, I go to her pretty gym, and we bash teh shoulderz and bis (we've started doing bis twice a week because apparently, my 11" just isn't big enough, lol... he he...I just said i had 11"....)
Chest and Tris:
- Highest weight only
Incline Barbell Bench
125 x 8
Isometric Press-Hold
45 x 10 seconds
Decline Flies
30 x 12 PR weight!!
Low Pulley Cable Crossover
40 x 7
* You can see my bulging tris, lol! This chick is gittin' LEAN!!!
V-bar Pressdown
120 x 12
Dips between Benches
70 x 9 PR weight!!! wtf....
CGBP on Smith machine
100 x 7
Dips between bench again...because...we're crazy?!
25 x 15
Pre workout cardio: 60 minutes Stepper @ Level 5
Post workout cardio: 15 minutes Stepmill + random ab stuff (garhammer raises, knee raises, weighted crunches...)

Wow. You win a glass of spilled milk brought to you by two birds in the hand who seem to be leading a horse to water....

Doubt was obviously a play in it's original incarnation. It was interesting though and the actors were all good. I like Philip Seymour Hoffman a lot. He's an interesting guy to watch in my opinion.
Your workouts are killing me and I'm only reading about them. Seriously Dude, you're SO going to kill me in real life. I mean like... dead.... Heellllpppp
