bread and oatmeal
what kind of bread and oatmeal do you use? i use aunt millie's 12 grain bread and quaker high fiber instant oatmeal. i'm not sure if those are good choices what do you recommend? i can get anything that you can find at your local grocery store.

The only difference that "could" matter is the fact that instant or flavored oats/bread are usually higher in simple sugars and/or contain High Fructose Corn Syrup. Just focus on trying to stick to your daily calories/macros and just get the nutritional benefits of probably any oat product, GI shouldn't be of much importance to your gains.

In all seriousness though, I just get the regular Quaker Oats in the big tub. It lasts for a while if you are only eating it for breakfast, probably a month. A few teaspoons of Splenda and 2 tablespoons of peanut butter will give it taste and protein. You can also slice up a banana and mix it in, and you will get a dose of potassium, fiber, and healthy sugars for some morning energy.
